Northwoods Madison Barlow

That cracked mammoth is spectacular. Heck, just yesterday there were at least 20 elephant ivory left. Checked this AM for the mammoth and they were not posted. Next thing I know the ivory slate has been wiped clean. I should know better than to dilly-dally on these. I bet the #53 doesn't get by me! ;)
 
i'm not into the mammoth and ivory, but it's more of a show piece right or do you all use them? looks like something you put in a frame.
 
How many mammoth ivory handled ones are coming out, and also how many more will be posted up for sale. And when will they come in!?!? I simply must have one thats handled like the ones posted above!!!

I have an elephant ivory viper that was SFO from knives ship free and i daily it. Just because its purdy dont mean i won't use it ;) .

the long pull barlows in mammoth had two batches; the first sold out in a day and the second was released a couple of days later.
 
The bone scales look terrific along with the rest of them but I'm going to pass up. It's a little too big for what I need, but they look great.
 
PSA: there's about 19 more mammoths than just poked their head up on KSF. Happy hunting
 
I just couldn't resist a mammoth ivory. I wanted a mate to the interior ivory. I also like the clip point on these.These are going very fast. These just might be the last ivory well see at these prices. If any more at all. Who knows what the current administration & tree huggers will do with the ivory trade.

Tom, I think the ivory trade is done.

I do think mammoth will be ok for the foreseeable future.

Thanks for your thoughts on the ivory & mammoth. I haven't seen an update about it for a week or so. But it looks like it will become more precious very soon.

Just my gut feeling.. I've been though enough proposed bans an outright bans, in my life, to know when panic buying and hoarding will break put. Mostly in the firearms and ammo areas.

I fully expect mammoth to trend upward with the ban of regular ivory. Just speculation though.
 
I suspect you are right. I started paying more for the raw materials as soon as the talk of the ban began.
 
Derrick, Many thanks. My Madison Barlow mammoth arrived today and it is simply beautiful. Ordered it on 4/02/14 and it arrived today, 4/05/14. That was from Oregon to WI. The slabs are matched beautifully. Pics soon.

That's another thing I love about KSF. I usually have it at my door within two days of them shipping. Nice.
