Derrick and GEC have teamed up to produce some stunning Northwoods knives. This latest batch of Madison Barlows may be their best yet.

This came in the mail yesterday.

What is the cover material on that knife Al? Very striking.

I noticed there's a new batch of mammoth Barlows on the site. Any chance there's gonna be a new batch of elephant ivory. I missed out on the preveuse ones and got my pay check last week

I believe that Derrick can only sell elephant ivory to walk-in customers and not over tinternet due to recent changes in legislation.

i'm not into the mammoth and ivory, but it's more of a show piece right or do you all use them? looks like something you put in a frame.

I carry and use my Ivory Norfolk Whittler every day.

Funny, when I started this thread I wasn't seeing that much excitement on BF about the Northwoods Barlows. There were a few posts here and there but I remember wondering whether it was a wise decision to buy the camel bone.

Then Derrick pulls out these ivory and mammoth versions and suddenly they are flying off the shelf faster than he can stock them.

I have several of the Northwoods/GEC Ivories as well as a couple of customs in Ivory and Most get carried. My current rotaion is Ivory Norfolk, Ivory Norfolk whittler,Ivory GEC Viper and Ivory American Jack and Hampton Ivory Peanut. You might guess I like Ivory . Steven
