You should have seen it when that pork came back to life. I've only heard second-hand reports, but a small fracas ensued apparently when one of the waiters tried to carry it back to the kitchen for more oven time. :D

I had a skinny ash just like that it was awesome!! I passed it on to a new hog for his first Busse!! I even put a polished edge on it for him! We left the choil in his though!! He is a great dude! He thanked me!! I guess I just should have snapped it, I would be a lot more popular!! Lol.

I was saving for a Chris Reeves Umnumzaan but I guess it will wait now =)

First busse, second INFI. Now I need to learn how to sharpen INFI. Took me 3 hours to get something almost satisfying on a spyderco sharpmaker. I also had to change the ceramics after :|

I looked at Busse knives years ago when the AK-47 and Ruck were available through the stores (I think). Thought they were hype (INFI) and too expensive. Fast forward to November/December 08. After looking at different knives (I love em) I came across some testing done on a mission ti knife (I have one now). Which led me to a Busse testing. I also came across Noss's site and saw the Busse tests. I now have 8 Busses with a custom in the works and I don't think I will be buying any others except Busse (well maybe a Blackjack Mamba in black Ti-Ni to complete my set).

I understand the dislike for the tests but I like seeing how they compare to others in the tests. To each their own.

i'm glad someone does these tests (and posts them for all to see). it'd be great if Busse posted something like this for all their knives since i'm sure they do something similar.
as was mentioned, it's nice to see how much abuse a knife can take. you never know what kind of situation might happen where you're going to have to depend on your knife to stand up to all sorts of abuse, and if you know how much damage it can take, you'll be more prepared

I have beaten hundreds of knives into submission for nearly 30 years and I have to tell you that Noss' hammer strikes against the sides of blades that are locked in a vise are nothing short of terrifying!!! . . . :eek:. . . . Yowza!!!:eek: :thumbup:

Noss is most definitely a mad man! :thumbup: Love him or hate him, you've got to admit that he'd be one fun guy to drink with!!!:eek::D:thumbup:

So, let's Drink To The Memory Of The Skinny ASH who fought bravely 'til the end and stood defiantly against the "Nuclear Hammer Of Noss" ! ! ! ! !

Guyon, you're the keymaster for all embarrassing hilarity associated with Busse. Thanks for that, brother. Needed a laugh this morning. My one student who shows up super early was wondering what the heck was funny on such a cold (48 degrees...FREEZING in Miami) morning. :D:D:D

I still think the funniest thing about this pic is Cobalt with the 'gar in his mouth...and the windswept hair is just classic. KAAK looks like he's constipated...or REALLY worried about something to his right. Tony just made a dirty double entendre about a female cop. This pic is hilarious.
 
LOL, you can't "Mod" a blade and use it as a test against others, and 1/4" mess up sharpening? geez, anyways there fun to watch
