Noss D-tests the Skinny ASH1

Whether Noss's tests offend or inspire you... after seeing his destruction test of the FFBM, I bought my first Busse, an FFBM. And then another one after that, and another, and another, and one I really needed, and then another...;) Noss's tests, IMO, put @sses in the seats! Atleast thats true in my case. I'm not surprised Jerry applauds him, he's good free marketing for Busse Combat.:D

GregS---Would you buy me a Busse??
I like Noss and Jerry! :D

I bought you a Busse a while ago, a red handled game warden, but I found out you already had one!:grumpy: So I went down to my local Frost Cutlery Warehouse and picked you up these!!!!:D:D:D:barf:

The tassel on the second one from the left should really compliment your red handled Warden!!!:p

Noss was the reason I bought my first Busse (NMSFNO) and then I got BAD for kicks. Now I want FFBM :D

Dang, I was already visiting the company store weekly drooling over a new Ash...

This is not going help!

LOL, you can't "Mod" a blade and use it as a test against others, and 1/4" mess up sharpening? geez, anyways there fun to watch

that does make for an interesting comparisons, because busse's tend to get thick fast. I don't know what the geometry of the ash one is, but I assume that bringing the edge up like that increases the "metal behind the edge" by at least 1/32". either way I think for functionality (with some additional grinding to remove the added thickness at the edge) the knife benefited from the mod.

Thanks, Yazd. I got your back!
Actually, a Game Warden and a Public Defender, are the only Busses I own---for now.

The Skinny ASH is convex, right? But anyway, I would be pretty surprised if removing metal from the blade added lateral strength, and it just so happens that the blade finally broke in the side tang impacts which requires much from the lateral impact toughness of the blade.
