The wife's trying to talk me into going outside because of the snow, and go get a burger. I want to, but haven't been outside in nearly 9 weeks. I have a phone appt. set up with the doctor tomorrow, so I want to wait to see what he says. What the hell, I've waited this long.

I am back to work tomorrow . Last day I worked was on October 27th . Tommorow is the test to see if they actually helped it
Good luck to ya brother. Hoping the doctor has good news for me tomorrow. I look forward to going back to work. I just hope they don't expect me to be 100% when I first go back.

bud's guns is across the street from SMKW and next door to the lodge/coleman outlet up in Sevierville -- which isn't very far from there.
some good trails and parks in the pigeon forge/gatlinburg area, too.

Awesome, I was planning on going to SMKW but I didn't know Buds and coleman was there too. Thanks!

Anyone here have and use a Hudson Bay tobacco tin? Have always wanted one, but am afraid it'll just be yet another purchase of something I don't really need.
Think I’m in the same boat. I always look at them, but I honestly know I won’t get very much use from it. I love primitive fire starting methods, but it’s either a firesteel or lighter for me.

That's how I am too. Have several firesteels, flint strikers, fire pistons, etc, but don't have one of these, haha.

Made it through the first day back to work in better shape than I expected . I had been off 10 weeks . Came home to a box from SMKW with a BK-11 and a Kabar TDI knife :)
Glad you had a good first day back man. Been off for 10 weeks myself. Awesome about the knives.

My left knee is bothering me some I think that is from me not walking they way I was before the surgery and I need to adjust to walking closer to normal .my back is a little achy because we had a sewer cable stuck and I had to apply some hillbilly armstrong to it . But the foot they worked on is fine.

The Kabar TDI knife opens A dog food bag with authority

Made it through the second day back no problems. Had a contractor friend tell me he had something for me I was handed a bag . It had a Olight Warrior X Pro , picantiny mount and a pressure switch. I was blown away with such a gift.

This year I found an old school wooden climbing axe to go with some Kenetrek Mountain Extreme boots.

Thats when you stammer out a thank you because you dont know what to say but you know thanks doesnt quite cover it.

It can be tough showing gratitude, thats why id rather be in the giving end.

Sucks when you need to take the ol morning duker, and a shower, and the city is installing a new waterline outside your front door, with the water turned off.
