Went to my fil's house tonight for the first time in 10 weeks. Sure did feel good. Even though I wasn't supposed to , I had three Scotch's and even smoked a cigar. Damn, did it ever feel good. Nice to feel normal again.

The feeling? No, I can't get a word in edgewize between me and my alter ego.

Varusteleka is up on their game, they popped this package out from Finland faster than a lot of local businesses.
Got another Swiss, surplus, wool sweater, and some wool pants. Gotta clean this fiberglass off myself before I touch any of the new stuff though. I've been cutting through a fiberglass trailer wall the last couple days, just like a boat hull, les miserables.

Just noticed, it looks like the BK12 might be done. The site that sells the Ritter’s seems to have a new fixed blade to fill that gap. If you want to check it out go there and search for “Ritter Mk3-G2”. Looks sweet, premium stainless steel.

Edit: couldn’t resist and ordered it.

Looks similar. It’s made by Hogue and s45vn steel. On the one I’m talking about, the handle seems to be more textured (like the newer Ritter folders).

Congrats GeofS! It’s sure a good looking Knife :thumbsup: I was checking it out, ended up pulling the trigger on the Ritter mk1 folder .

You chose wisely. That’s a great knife!

same blade shape, the new ones are made from S45 and the handle texture matches that of the current Hogue Ritter folders.
Dubz - the handle will be short for you, it's just over 4.5".

Just bought a small drone, and a case to go with it. Should be fun.
Been flying it around the house. Takes some getting used to, but it's fun. Three batteries came with it, but they only last 6-7 minutes each. Wanting to learn on this one, so I can break my big one out and have a little knowledge of how it works, to ease a bit the chance of crashing it, haha. My other one also has a camera.

I think we are all disappointed and frustrated. Sadly, i dont think theres anything we can do. Wherever in china its being produced already has the commission(or however it works). They arent going to suddenly pull it from the production line without some powerful motivation.

The fact theyre planning to do this with a becker is insult enough.

Yeah it’s too bad they went that route. Especially since they just released a D2 Dozier built in Taiwan; it’d seem to be a no brainer to do the same for this. I do like the styling though. Hopefully they’ll pull a Remora and switch mfg. sites in a year or two...?
