Hi All-

Please cease the ad hominem arguments or we can count on the moderators locking this thread. That said, it is a bit disconcerting to read the propensity for many folks to "knuckle under" to whatever some overreaching government agency demands in terms of knives, firearms, national ID requirements, etc., etc.

Please continue to say nothing of value on the actual topic of this thread and just post like a huge toolbag. That's the way to go.

And yes, your extra year of education at some college in Minnesota makes you much more intelligent than anyone else. Sounds like you have a superiority complex.

Sorry sweets, my tool bag will remain off limits to your groping little digits.

I think that you are blame shifting with acute denial: you have an Inferiority complex, and are trying to insult me to make yourself feel adequate.

Yeah, but although i suppose rebellion is kind of the natrual reflex to whatever law, in this case my argument is that it isn't really "knuckling under" but more so that the regulations are reasonable.

Ok Dr. Phil. I think that you are a pompous jackass.

Read back on your posts. You have contributed nothing to this thread except asinine comments.

No problem, "kiddo". You are 1 year my senior, and from your posts, arrogant as hell and an all-around douche bag. I'm done with you in this thread.

Is that like the one you carry in your purse? Good for "tactical not so fresh moments?"

it's like the one you should use to clean out daytona beach from your vagina.

you are quite the witty illustrator/sign maker (going by your profile info) who envisions himself an expert psychologist.

Hi All-

The fact-of-the-matter is that school violence involving knives, guns, and bombs is a purely modern phenomenon. Kids carried these items and even kept them in their lockers for nearly a hundred years before problems started in isolated circumstances. This is where parenting plays such a crucial role. I was raised with a significant number of knives and firearms within easy reach...the idea of touching my father's hunting knives or firearms without his permission and immmediate presence would have resulted in grounding until I was 30 years of age. My peers operated under the same rules.

Kids had scraps then as they do now...but nobody would have pulled a knife or a gun in a million years. Forget about the police and school administrators, it was your parents that would dole out punishment not to be forgotten.
