Well just this pm comitted to a trade for a drop point SMF with this fella. I negated a trade for cash on the JDF as Stolas was first with a response for the trade. He committed to it and then boned me a little bit ago. Totally pissed he did this and can not recommend him as a trading partner on the BF's. In all my years here this is only the second time I have ever written a negative comment on a deal with someone here. keepem sharp

Second what's this about JD anyway? Do a deal on BF and leave the other forums out of it. If everything is in one place there is MUCH LESS CONFUSION.
Third, posting private messages is A LAST RESORT. It is also confusing when the explanations are swallowed up by the huge blocks of text, half of which is computer stuff and not edited for clarity.

The Simple version: I Had an SMF posted for trade. I was contacted by Mr. Longbow to trade his SMF Tanto For My SMF Spear point.
I Know Nothing of JD or his dealings there.
He Got Bent because I was Curious of the condition of his SMF tanto I was going to trade for, and I asked for a Pic.

You did confirm that you wanted to trade and then when I confirmed to you we had a trade and sent my info you stated you wanted to see the knife etc. etc. Here is that email-"For some reason my firewall spammed this to my spam folder. I am not quite positive as to the tanto I have but it is a 4" blade, 5 3/8" handle(I am not the original owner and rec. it in a trade for a jacket worth 400bucks and I think this knife is a very reasonable trade for that jacket) I think also it is an SMF as this is the biggest tanto they make, flamed ti lock, slab g10, excellant heavy ass duty knife. I have a pic up now in the for sale sections of both sides. There are a couple of marks on the coating but you have to look close to see them.
