New "notable" pair for/to me. Tideoute 828318 Dixie Stockman and Northfield UN-X-LD 852211P Harness Jack.
I don't know precisely how long these will be in my pocket, but I suspect for at least the remander of September.

They in turn, are paired with a c.1979/1980 4 pin Old Timer 7OT with a 1095 blade, and a c.1936-1952 Imperial Scout/Camp/Engineer's knife, with a pen 4th blade, rather than the "normal" punch/awl. Based on the can opener, it is post 1945.
I was informed that it is/was possibly a 1945 to 1947/1948 Navy issue knife, because the 4th blade isn't a punch/awl.
(Since a punch/awl can double as a marlin spike, I'd think the Navy would issue one with a punch/awl.)
AFAIK there is no way to prove one way or the other if this particular knife was issued by the Navy, so I won't claim it was.

I'll probably stick with this double pairing for at least the remainder of September.
I like carbon steel blades. All 4 are equipped with good 'ol 1095. :)
