  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

oops wrong thread. Better get another cup of coffee...

A pair of 35's. A Queen Model 35 Folding Hunter with Coke bottle Early Winterbottom bone handle, saber clip blade (Queen City) 1932-1955; and a Case Pattern 35 Regular Jack with dark jigged bone handle, spear and pen blades 1940-1964.

Something a little different: fleam knives. Some commentators say that fleam blades, intended for bloodletting of animals by veterinarians and farmer/ranchers, fell out of favor in the late 1800's (as the science behind such practices was questioned much as the use on humans had been discredited much earlier). However, Ulster had a Model 13C fleam knife in their 1961 catalogue. The one on the left is an Ulster Model 13C with spey and fleam blade; the one on the right has no markings and a single fleam blade.

A Case Pattern 30 from 1920-1940 and a young whippersnapper Muskrat from 1976.

(Added 9/30/2017. After further research, I believe the top knife is a variation on the Pattern 53 equal end cattleman's knife and not a pattern 30, which is an equal end pen knife. Both the 30 and 53 patterns have been discontinued for some time and information on them is spotty. My knife does not have a pattern stamp on it. The dating is correct, though)
