Yep , I got there in three minutes. I was surfing the GEC web-sights. I just had the gut feeling to go back to Gunstock Jacks. And "boom", it was there. 7:04pm , I had my knife. I almost messed up on Pay-pal clicking on the Pay-Credit , which I never use. I was so nervous and relieved when it was over. I was not sure about this knife when Mr. Charlie announced it two months ago. When I saw the Charlie #86 BLACK JACK prototype knife , I knew I had to try hard for this one. I have never bought so many GEC two blade jack knives in my life. I am a single blade collector dude. Looking forward to the Sambar Stag #86 Oil Field jack knife next. The Charlie Black jack is like buying a NOS 100 year old knife. I would rather have this knife than an original of less quality. I like giving an American a job too. "BUY AMERICAN OR STARVE !"

As usual, I apologize for my crusty, old scanner!! And for the fingerprints!!:oops:
Walk and talk are beautiful - firm but not nail-breaking! In the rush for production, the blades have gotten the full polish treatment instead of a matte finish, the etches are subtle, and I love both blades!! That long thin pen will be a worthy helper to the large, broad Clip main!!
The pins on this one are very flush, some only slightly below the finish, and all the metal is either steel or nickel. :cool: I think GEC has done another hit for us!!!:D

Very happy to have been invoiced for this bad boy!

Freakin' stoked, this is GEC's best knife this year I think and there have been some doozies.

First post-Christmas knife delivery is in and it's a doozy! Looks great. It's a big and beefy knife but an awesome addition to the collection.

Some other first impressions: walk and talk is excellent and fits the knife well. Probably a 6.5 on both blades. I love the clip blade and etch, even though I'm not usually into etches. Pen blade is huge which will make it more useful for me if I decide to carry it.
