Cause people would wave them around and blind people in an instant. Or terrorist could blind pilots...etc. No sound impossible to trace. I guess that for starters.

I can see why they call It a lightsaber....

It's pretty beefy, deff. has some heft to It, but for the beam It puts out It's pretty sweet.

I live In the middle of nowhere surrounded by farmland so I don't have neighbors to piss off. I stood off my back porch with a buddies Blu-Ray (same one sold on the site, S1 Sonar Lunar) and you can see the beam on It pretty good with It's Blu-Ray laser, then I fired up mine.... for the 1st time. My jaw was on the ground, It made a straight BIG Blue line for about 2 miles off my back porch that was CLEARLY visible. I like It!

I will post pics when I get my camera back, It's at Canon for the next 3 weeks.:grumpy:
