Number 77 Barlow SFO Question

Could someone who has more experience with these cover materials pm me with approximate prices on the:

Smooth rose
Natural stag
Abalone

I have no idea what they're likely to be, and any help would be appreciated.
Will there be a single blade version?
I just asked if there are plans and the answer was "No current plans on single bladers"

I would anticipate that with the interest in single blade models, there would eventually be some produced. But that is not even something that has a preliminary quote at this point.

As for pricing: once I have a final cost from GEC, I can start working on pricing. If I have learned anything, it is to never set a "preliminary" price. But I would expect these to run similar to the Northfield #78 models as to similar in size, etc.

Trust me as soon as I have pricing and availability numbers, I will post them on my website. You have no idea how many emails I am getting requesting the same information and wanting on the Early Reserve (now that pictures have posted) for items that went standby a month ago.

Doing my best....

Thanks. I was hoping on the single blade so I'm backing out which will free up a smooth Rose bone for someone.

I guess I need to work on my communication skills, but the schedule does say two blade models only at this time. But I will work harder to see if the single blades are feasible down the road. When you run a small business and start throwing ten of thousands at special runs, it gets complex delivering what your friends want without sending the bank account to red.

Not at all. Alot of times I jump the gun and read ahead too fast, and it does say two blade models. They are beautiful looking knives.

Mike, the Early Reserve page was very clear that this run will be a two-blade version (clip and wharnie). I'm not sure what else you can say.

I'm loving the blade choices on these and looking forward to their release. I'm trying to resist checking the website and email every hour. :o

I think the blade choices are fantastic too! I have to admit, I refresh the GEC page on my phone every hour or so. They have not been disappointing with photos. I can't wait to see these in person. Mike, you did a stellar job on the design!

Thanks for doing this Mike! I can only imagine how many inquiries you get and how much there is to juggle with a project like this, and still, the few times I've called, you've happily taken the time to chat with me. Really excited for this!

Just getting into traditional's so I may have missed the boat on this one. Got on the standby list for the blackwood.

I got my first GEC knife a few weeks ago and love it, now I'm lucky enough to have a 77 in blackwood on order as my second! Very excited for this one!
