nuntfancy.....

I think he does a great job reviewing the knife but he puts the knives in the wrong classes alot...for example he says the benchmade 550HG griptilian with a sheepsfoot blade is tactical but the 556 mini-grip with a drop point blade and a bit of a flase edge in edc.

Nutnfancy himself says flat out, that he's no expert. He is simply your average joe who has had plenty of experience in knives, guns, gear and camping and hiking, that he wants to pass on to those who have little to no experience on the topic. His reviews are not perfect but are far better than looking at a spyderco viele on ebay with its brief description and wondering if its the right knife for you. I give nutnfancy sole credit for awakening in me an interest in multi tools, which I believe he reviews far better than he does his knives. His videos on the sog powerlock vs leatherman charge started my multi tool craze, and it hasn't stopped yet. In 3 days I will be getting my sog powerassist for my birthday. Thanks to nutnfancy I am getting a cool useful tool instead the usual sweater or pack of underwear.

Keep your head up nutnfancy

Even GOD has HIS critics.

His videos aren’t bad. I don't agree with everything he says, just one mans opinion...no biggie. He does try and keep the review organized and unbiased. I do appreciate how he tries to be consistent on his talking points, which is good. He tends to stick to mainstream production knives (i.e. Cold Steel, Benchmades, Spydercos...etc.) I'd like to see him review a Busse, Ferhman, Ranger, Chirs Reeve, or Koster knife.....or some customs would be nice. I understand these are more expensive knives, and he tends to purchase knives, which are more affordable, or that the regular LEO or military person could get a hold of, but I did see he had a review out for a Loan Wolf T2. He had more that one and these which retail for over $200 in some instances; with that money he could purchase a higher end blade. My only other grip is his use of WD-40 in the wilderness, seems kind of like a rookie move. Kind of throws the whole getting back to nature philosophy out the window. Not only that, but it's not such a good idea in a tactical or especially in a hunting environment. Heck, when I was in the military you couldn't smoke in the field obviously but we couldn't even take the peanut butter packets with us because the smell was too strong. Not carrying a knife because it weighs an ounce more than the 4 oz weight limit but lugging around a can of WD-40 seems counter intuitive. Just my opinion...which means nothing. Rant off :D
