If you've emailed Nick or myself an order, and you're not on the list, please let me know. Also, if you have requested the knife, please make sure to get your deposit to Nick by June 1.

email sent!! Great work!

I'm not interested in the stamp, and extra costs.

Here it is from Nick:

Ok Here is most of the pricing break down.

$158.00 for a complete package
$135.00 for a finished knife only
$80.00 for only a blade that has been HT'D If you want pin holes drilled please specify. Also please specify if you want tang lightening holes drilled.
Handle Matl. choices are
Green Canvas Micarta
Black Canvas Micarta
Black Linnen Micarta

Sorry no fiber glass products.

I understand that I also need to donate a knife for auction and donate one for Spark. So $316.00 plus the cost of the stamp will have to be split up evenly.

I will take pay pal, and Money Orders

I would require a down payment of half. There is one snag with that though. I still need to figure out how much a stamp will be and how many guys want in. These two factors will dictate the total cost per knife. The down payment can be half of the actual knife cost and the ending payment will have the added expenses added. This is the only way I can figure to get this rolling in a timely fashion.

I hope these extra costs doesn't change anyones mind. But it is all I can do to make it even.

Thanks
Nick

Email sent. I am interested in the stamp. Without the stamp, this would be another custom knife. The stamp lends 'specialness' to the piece, and commemorates the process and effort that went into pulling it together.

Also, since Nick was in on this process since the get-go, I'd rather not see his knife be an 'unofficial' forum knife.

Glad to see this is up and going. Again very fine work Nick. Wish I had the $$$ for all three knives:( .

Deposit sent via paypal. Looking forward to getting this. I'd like to see how much the stamp would add onto the knife before I commit to it. Complete package with black canvas micarta.  :D

Thanks tknife for coordinating this and Nick for his work and the two knifes Ken offered. All very nice.

This may sound stupid but why can't the same stamp be used by both makers, there by lowering the overall cost instead of having to pay for 2 stamps?

That sounds like an idea. We'd have to hear from Nick and Ken as I'm not sure where the stamping plays into the finishing of the knife.

I have thought of that but, we live in different states and it would be difficult to use it at the same time. Now, we could do it like this, Ken will use it until all of his orders are complete. Then, he could send it to me to use. The only problem with that is that, the guys who want to order my knife will have to wait until ken is done.

It's up to you guys. I can wait if you can.

Nick:)

Ken said the cost of the stamp was around $60, so if 10 guys order a knife, that will only add in $6 extra per knife. But, if it has the stamp we need to factor in an extra knife to donate to the forum. So again, if 10 guys order, that adds in an additional $15, so $21 total. Not too shabby really. And if more than 10 order, the cost will go down.

Well I am in if they are stamped, let me know when you decide and I will get my money in.

Paid for one in green mikarta. Full rig with pocket for 12K firesteel (army).

Hi Andy, I received your down payment. But I have one question. What is the difference bet. the fire steel I used in the pic and the one you are speaking of?

Thanks
Nick:)

Nick, the army model is slightly longer and thicker than the one I sent you. I'm not sure of the actual dimensions though.

Deposit sent via paypal for a completed knife with green canvas micarta with no sheath. :D :D :D

As I indicated in the other thread, paypal has been sent. I ordered the complete package ($158) and have the Army model Firesteel (3/8" diameter and the shaft (below the plastic handle) is 2.5".

Waiting is not a problem for me. I would be willing to wait for the stamp.

I do have a knife that I can use until I get my NWA BF W&SSF knife. :)

Does anyone know what the stamp looks like that Ken is using? If so, please post a sketch of it.

Thanks
Nick:)
