I have a question...There have been a few people that have already got their knives and they seem to love them. could one of you send me yours to use until I get mine? LOL

Figured it couldn't hurt to ask...hehehe

This should help clear up some of the wondering of, when.
The names of who's knives will be ready this week is as follows
Chris Brandenburg
Rich Perez
Marc Engstrom
Mike Vaughn
Marc Bilski

I will be sending out e-mails to these guys throughout the week.

Help...I need a fix...I need a fix...I need a fix!

Who will volunteer their Knife for the PASSAROUND...lol

For me, the anticipation waiting for a new knife is part of the fun. Especially one as cool as this :D(That's why you have to always make sure you have a new knife on the way, haha!)

That pic of yours look Beautiful! I'm in dire need of a knife show...They used to be everywhere and now I can't find one to save my life. I'm thinking of ordering a new Al Mar S.E.R.E. 2000 but would really like to feel it in my hands before purchase.

Me too. There's only a show once a year here now, the Knife Expo in Feb. So I have a ways to wait. I miss Blade West being here in CA.

Good ole Cali...I miss living in monterey...Those were the days...I used to enjoy the outdoors...practically lived in them. Now I'm in TAXACHUSETTS where 99.9% of my time is indoors making as much money as I can to be able to help uncle sam out.

Most of the "knife" shows around here are really GUN and knife shows with the emphasis being on guns. Now, I'm not knocking gun shows (I've been to a few and own a few ;) ) but I'm really looking forward to the Spirit of Steel Show in Spetember in Grapevine, TX. It's not too far from home, right next to my local Bass Pro Shop, and will be my first "real" knife show. At least, I hope it's a real show. lol. Anyhow, I'm saving up for something special from that show.

Yesssss!!!!!!!!!
I just saw my name in this weeks batch. I will be patiently awaiting my email from Nick. I will post some knife porn featuring this fine blade to soothe the nerves of those waiting.

I hope NWA is still ENJOYING the process of making them and not taking our antisipation of having them, ruin his enjoyment of making them.
NWA just remember we're in no rush..........Just as long as we get it tommorrow...hehehe

When resharpening this knife...At what angle will everyone sharpen it at? 25%? 30%?

I sharpen mine freehand with a ceramic stick usually and follow the grind. Or I use the Sharpmaker, not sure what that angle is. This is the very first knife I've had from O1, and I have to say it holds a great edge and sharpens up easily. I've beat the crap out of it too, and no dings in the edge.

I use a Lansky sharpener...If he says 22% it only has 15...20...25...30...So I guess I'll go with the 20%

What a handsome tool (the knife, not me)!!! Golly Nick, you sure do some fantastic work!

I know we've talked about starting a picture thread once everyone gets their knives, but I could resist. Here's a teaser:

Thank Nick, tknife, Sparks, and the others who helped make this possible!
