What Tony said about the drop loop and tek-loc. Please hurry and dirty that thing up, it's far too good looking of a knife!!!:D

Kiah must be the man then. Brother Kiah, since you have already posted here can you drop me an email jeff@eseeknives.com and I will get the knife sent to you.

When I get through dirtying this thing up Expatriated is gonna be crying! I fully intend to carry this thing for several months. It's going to be my main blade for our upcoming wilderness class and jungle survival.

That's a good looking chunk of steel, but it reminds me of a highly-refined version of the Gerber Freeman knives.

Not trying to be a smartass but it reminds me of about every other knife made. Not a whole lot has changed since the bronze age.

I'm speaking in particular about the undersized scales over full-tang construction, but I do think too many people worry more about the looks of their blades than how they'll actually perform.

Good deal. I'm off to the woods for a couple hours and then into town for a bit, so I'll shoot you an email later Tonight.

Oh yeah?, Well, I'm bringing a Randall to the Wilderness Ops course this year and I'm going to beat it like it owes me money:eek:

As for the steel, I don't even know what S35VN is. I know I will probably knock the shoulders of the edge down a little

S35VN is what you should use on the 3 folder. Thats all you need to know.:D

P.S. Make a lefty version

But then I have to get a tactical loin cloth made and learn to run around bare-footed fro a month:D

Jeff CricketDave can show you how to make a loin cloth of your very own

the esee survival loin cloth

Hell I'm sure that would be a great tutorial that many people here could really get a lot out of;)

Damn thats one slick knife. Chris Reeve really knows his craft.
Wondering what the sheath will be. Make sure it has rails for a scope or 2 :)

How much money? I mean, Randall's can take a beatin'. Might want to specifiy the amount owed, that way the beatin' will match. $5 dollars owed, might just be showing to a piece of wood.

But $300 owed, now, thats a good knot batonning there. Maybe some fuzzies.

Which Model Expat? I've beat a Model 14 pretty good once. It kinda seemed to like it. It didn't owe me money or nuthin', but it did steal my cookie once. I was pissed about that for a little while.

Moose, I'll be bringing a Model 25. It's got wood and leather, not the normal leather and stag.

I honestly think that's the best all around size for outdoor work.

You're gonna be there, right?

Yup. I'll be bringing some Beckers (Including the Model 1 Ethan Becker), and some of my Fiddlebacks (Hunter and 12" Machete), some moras, and some ESEE's. Maybe a Tramontina. No Randall's for me though. Model 25? Damn fine knife. I like the Model 3-5 the most though. MMMMMMM, Randalls. The knives, not Jeff. :D
