O.T. Scheduled for surgery......Maybe twice.

For whatever it's worth I generally come out of surgery feeling like hell for a month or two but a year later am glad I had it done.

Well just got the news that the surgery is gonna be delayed until next Friday.
The anethesologist at the Surgery Center didn't want to take any chances with me so it will be done at the hospital instead.
Guess he didn't like my record of congestive heart failure and me having problems with anesthetic before. :grumpy:
I dislike waiting more than anything I know!!!!

I hate waiting for things too Yvsa, but at least it sounds like they're thinking about what they're doing, and that can't be a bad thing. "Measure twice, cut once" works on more than wood.

by smoke and fire. Maybe they'll let you sharpen the scalpel?

My mum jsut got her knees operated on, and she's been confined to bed for 2 weeks, now is up & about but the 12-inch incision one one & the 4-inch incision on the other still has the stitches in it.

My dad gets his new knees put in in march.

" I'll make a note, Sarge"

A poor attempt at humor, sorry about that Rusty. My singing voice isn't much better. Just trying to cheer Yvsa up about what I imagine is a trying situation. Give 'em hell Yvsa.

Smoke will go up.

Take some good medicine with you. Staurolite is the old Tsalagi tradition on this side of Turtle Island.

Thanks Phil, et al.:)

It all depends on how much my foot swells up hanging down while I'm at the computer desk as to how much I get to be here.:)
Maybe it will be like when I had the carpal bones removed from my right wrist and I won't have any trouble at all.
If that's the case then I will be here all day and night.:D

Yvsa,

I just saw this thread... my prayers are going out too. Good luck with the surgery.

But it being a historical event, the townspeople dug him out and strung him back up for a photo. Yes, it's still available for sale.

Set up shots... grrrrr... A really GOOD photographer would have been on scene for the original lynching :grumpy: :p
