Does anyone have an extra stock BK-2 sheath that they could send my way? All I need is the plastic part, because I attached my original BK-2 sheath to the MOLLE pannel of my pack. I will attach my modded belt loop to the plastic part if somebody is nice enough to send me one.

Thanks guys.

:D

I have one I'll send you. Lucky for you that's the only part I saved. Got an addy for me? PM or email.

Love me some ESEE.

Orange & Yellow are in the house.

Ok, I need some advice on what pouch/sack/whatever to transition my 'emergency' kit to.

Currently everything is loose in a grocery bag which I stuff in a drawstring bag that's annoying to get into. This isn't really as much of an emergency kit (although it is that) as a "stuff I'm finding I always need at some point when I'm out and about" kit. So of course we're out and about a lot and I'm always into the thing, which is really inconvenient with the current setup.

Dimensions are appx 12"x6"x6". There are lots of fiddly bits so [a] the dimensions are not hard-coded, and I'd like something I can easily get in and out of, and [c] something maybe with some interior organization. Rather than a round or square shape I'd rather have it elongated to more easily facilitate sliding into and out of a pack. Not looking for super-high-end-survive-2012-save-me-John-Cusack! bombroof quality, but also would like to avoid a five-dollar Target special.

Here's some pictures of the current lump. TIA.

Total failure on the BOB there..... Everyone knows that Wal-Mart bags are the #1 choice of survivalists everywhere. :D

Looks like you need one of those smaller maxped sling bags BRL, like a fatboy or sitka or something.

Eh, I wouldn't get that China crap bag from WalMart. I think Gerber is releasing the Bear Grylls shopping/survival bag this year. It's got a "survival orange" drawstring and can be used to collect your own urine in an emergency.

Does anyone here have experience with the Diamond Brand USMC camo 2 man tent? A guy offered that as a trade for my ESEE 5 and I know nothin about it but love the camo!
