My thought process was, you buy it, have it shipped to you. Once I get my return I will pay for knife/shipping to me and a little "tip" for you.

EDIT: I should probably note that my taxes were filed last week and should be in my account in the beginning of feb. I dont wait till april :D
 
Dude, you don't seem to understand :) Check out this hypothetical scenario and its solution:

A person agrees to help you, but can only afford to spend $100. I can throw in the remaining $58 so we can pull this thing up. I don't want the knife, I just want my money back at some point :)

That is very generous of you, but I have $0.00. Lending the money without the lender getting some insurance (ie, the knife) doesnt seem right. Im not THAT much of a begger.... wait....
