All you kayakers... I just got a 2009 old town rush! Cant wait to get it out

the only thread in BK&T forum that has more ''hits'' then the FPR BK16 thread is the Becker Blade Database thread and that one was started in dec 2010!!! The 16 thread is only ~7,000 behind too! holy crap thats an impressive testament to the unholy desire for tweeners! :)

*edit* Mooses just brought the Beckerhead signup thread back to page one...it has ~45,000 views, but the speed of the 16 thread's numbers is still impressive.

...so I have my first batch of micarta curing in the press, also built my Kydex press this afternoon...soon as I get my micarta grips on my 9, gonna see if I can learn kydex-bending lol (which is also based on my ability to sucessfully make micarta scales). whole lot of ''Ifs'' there!

Justified is my favorite show. I just can't get enough

Best show ever. I haven't caught any of this season though.

The BK-14 took a good beating Saturday and a lot of the blueing got rubbed off. So new patina.

Justified is a great show, I have seasons 1 & 2 on DVD, haven't seen any of 3 yet (I think season 3 is airing currently)

stopped at the world's newest Cabela's today -- it doesn't officially open for 12 more hours -- was not impressed. The one in kansas city is much better.
then I stopped and took a Gander at a mountain of a store -- despite all the redecorating they're on the middle of, they had decent prices on low end kayaks and 4 packs of vest-style pfd's for cheap.

books. Ethan is really fond of the Richard Grave's book: Bushcraft. with some searching, say on bookfinder.com, you can get it for less than $25

the Mors Kochanski book by the same name is also quite nice, and about $13 here and there

Primitive Technologies books are very nice. i have the first two, i heard there were more? mmm.

as well, there are NUMBEROUS PDFs one can download of various government and military guides. the SURVIVAL one in particular is marvelous; seems like the template for the SAS book. almost exactly. mmm.

Military-FM21-76_SurvivalManual - look for it!

im from the old world of thinking there is no where else but here. The world ends at the county line

That ankle monitor you wear also kinda means it is legally mandated that your world end at the county line.

Congrats! I've used a few of those on the river here and in Lake Michigan. They're made right in my home town, so it seems like everyone has one.

airing out the new bag.... not quite full yet. I'm waiting until the new-bag smell goes away before putting my spare hiking/hunting clothes in the main pouch.

Just watched a show on the outdoor channel on how the new Ithaca guns are made, man it really makes me want a new one. What kind of shotguns do you guys have?
