See, I'm not a huge fan of Micarta... I like the zytel. I guess it wouldn't work if the 11 is that much wider. I wouldn't be worried about it melting as right now I have access to a grinder and dremel-type tool along with sanding tools...

21/2 hours, not very deep...can feel it on fingertip but nowhere near as deep as the BK&T logo-stamp

So, got a can of Klean-Strip, and a rubber scraper, and a metal finishing pad... And a round file. About to have fun for the first time with my 14.... I'll report back with pics.

I have a factory original 10/22 barrel and wood stock on sale on the Gear & Gadgets sub forums, for anyone interested. I'm hoping the price is fair, I'm kinda guessing its worth.
 
For those of you who were asking:

Mini BM 275 adamas review

I got it in the mail today, and I love it. This thing is as close as I've seen to a folding BK2. The construction is quality and solid. Blade is D2, and thick at that. Axis lock is smooth as any other axis. Came very sharp, and coating on the blade is nice(wouldn't mind a satin version though). Handle is pretty thick but still feels great in hand, the g10 is a bit smooth but still plenty of traction. The pivot is beefy, and the knife feels indestructible. The price was fair, but a bit spendy(pm me for any details on price and website I ordered from). I love this knife, but it might be a bit large for every day. The clip is low-ride, and sits nice and low in the pocket. Feels a bit bulky in the pocket and at 7.7oz is heavy.
