They are great, I carry mine all the time. Since you are a big guy the milie might be more your size but I like the lock on the para better.

The 550 is next on my list, you have the elmax version right? How do you like elmax, and could you post a pic of size comparison(for some reason in my head I see it as small, like delica sized)

it was 1.30$ lol. I jimped 4 blades with it, I got my money's worth. Just suprising to hear ''SNAP" and feel "OUCH"

I have the satin 350 from KW, its nice but I don't care for the blade shape. I hate recurves. I think I am trading it +cash for a BM 425. I like zt's build quality, but I wish the blades were shaped differently

Well, there are two designers I believe working on them. If you get one of the Ken Onion ones, they are all recurvey and flowy. But one of the Hinderer ones aren't so much. At least that is how it SEEMS to me, I don't claim to be any kind of expert.

I have my heart set on the para2 satin/digicam. I like everything about it, size, design, reviews, color, scale, color. I been looking at tacticals for several days now and this one jumped off the page and yelled ''BUY ME'' so now I just gotta look for a deal.

I got a 0551 off of the exchange and a Para 2 in a trade this week. I'm at work all night. I'll post pics when I get home in the morning if somebody else hasn't by then. The 0551 is definitely bigger than the Para 2 though.

Im so glad I took the trade for the Para 2. It's an awesome knife. I didn't think I would like it as much as I do. It's definitely going to see a lot of carry time over the summer.
