Gay or not, who cares, I'd say that young man went out whoopin' some ass for the Red, White, and Blue, piss on Westborough, and all who attend. That's my opinion folks, so, take it or leave it.

crap like that makes me angry. He is a hero period. Not just a part-time hero like those half assed patriots. Sure they have no problem sending him to the front line when they feel threatened, but when he dies for them they protest who he chooses to share his life with? complete crap!

I won't say much about the Westboro "church" douches, except that they piss me off.

To avoid a rant(I'm highly capable of doing that), I'll say that my Machax is getting some dirt time tomorrow. Nothing bushcrafty really, but we'll be removing brush, planting trees and mulching some areas at my old elementary school. It's part of a community involvement thing work does. I'm pretty excited about it.
 
Well guys, looks like prayers were answered. Westboro traded the picket for radio airtime. I will still be attending to pay my respects. Thanks guys for the ear.

Fred Phelps is a complete ass wipe. He came to Denton Texas when I lived there to protest at the college because they were doing a play about Mathew Sheppard. That group is a few grape kool aids over the line. I can't believe they have any type of following at all. Last I heard most of them are blood relatives.
 
Well the Winter Camping Symposium was pretty awesome. Best part probably had to be chit chatting with Mors Kochanski and getting him to sign my book. :D

I agree with Moose sounds like a flawed product, no ones perfect, nonetheless I wonder once you clean them up you can spray some light coats of lacquer, or shellac ( anything in a rattle can) on them to seal it..

My popcorn has never farted, but neither is my G10 sticky.

I've used 3 different types (from Jantz). The Orange stuff is definitely gooier when you sand it too fast and get it hot, but at room temp it's dry as moose's afternoon snack...

Grip DOES increase when your hands are wet. Do you suffer from sweaty palms? do tell. Or maybe don't.

I suffer from sweaty palms. I've heard it called "fish hands" before. So that's what I call it. I have very acidic oils on my hands, and I can rust just about any metal, if its not wiped off immediately, and neutralized, and I'm serious about that. I can touch most stainless steels, and let them dry, and they get orange flaky rust.

One of the reasons I love Ballistol so much, it neutralizes my hands, so I can touch bare metal. So, my old Colts don't wind up with red fingerprints on them. And that, is a good thing.

funniest thing I ever saw done, they were protesting some college -- I think it was Talequah - and the college had enough warning to organize a fund raiser -- folks pledged a dime per minute per protestor or some such.
in 32 minutes they raised $1700 for the bi/gay/lesbian group on campus -- then some idiot had to thank the fruitcakes and they packed up and left.
