Thinking of taking my mosin nagant 91/30 for deer one day this year. Got it from my late father in law. Its the long "sharpshooter" model and is pretty accurate for not having a scope. All rounds hit a paper plate at 100 yards. Wonder what's so sharpshooter about it. I guess the crazy long barrel

Well I found it. The holiest of holy Grail knives. Now I just gotta find $400. Not likely but a guy can dream right? I give you the Fletcher knives BAMF. And its one awesome Bowie.

A few but this trumps em all. I had my fiddleback Palmer which was one of em and I thought I wanted a busse but the more I looked at it and obsessed about it the more I didn't like it. It was just the Palmer and the ash-1. But now it's just this Fletcher. Of course there are other amazing knives I'd love to get my hands on but I love the Bowie style and its still contemporary. Its awesome. Ill save my pennies and maybe one day ill have one.

I don't really have any grail knives but I have a short list of stuff that I obsess over, and there's absolutely a Fletcher in there. I think he is in interesting cat as far as being a knife designer in that he has a really great eye for blade shapes and was lucky enough to get on board with Andy Roy's amazing handles. One of the few designers where I browse his knife pictures purely from a pr0n point of view. Fletcher, Akers, Roy/Fiddleback, Menefee, Wohlwend, and Peña... man, I can look at their stuff all day long.
