not a problem at all. glad to hear my edges held up. Secretly, i sharpened it then used it then mailed it off without touching it back up since it didnt seem to need it. I was hopping to see how well the new technique held up especially with someone else using it after me. I dunno if cobra sharpened it, but if he didnt im pretty damn impressed

Okay, after an impulse trial run, I am freakin' blown away by the stove.
My understanding is that George will only make a limited run of these.
You may want one after seeing what it'll do.
 
I got a (used) Tops Tracker 2 in a trade today. I already own a (used) Tracker 1 , I think I am going to like the little franken-knife!

Cool blade Josh. Anyone have any experience with Snugpak sleeping bags? I know there are many models, but are they decent?

We've got the jungle models and like them quite a bit Dubz. Roomy and light, sleep about what the rating says. Pretty good gear.
 
speaking of murses... some of you guys have ze guns, and carry or go hunting... have you built a little kit that lives in the bag?

me? i've been getting into the pattern of putting "spare quality knives" into each bag/case, just on the odd chance that such a thing is useful (and has been)

if i had a regular, that i always had with me, i'd consider something a big more ... substantial :>

I was kinda looking for something more cold weather oriented, at a decent price. I like how small they roll up.

They're tiny. We use them as a summer bag and a liner inside a 32 degree bag for cold weather. I don't have any experience with the other models though. Just the jungle.
 
I think I'm gonna get one. I have a 0° rated bag, but it's big and bulky.

Dubz, you can always add a wool blanket to the snugpak and be pretty toasty. The 80/20 wool/polyester blankets are on sale for 5.99 at that place that has two words in the name and the first one rhymes with barber.

Wife has been asking me what I want for Christmas, think I'll go ahead and have her get one. Other word rhyme with gate? :D
