I think that mighta been AIG that had that. I could be wrong, but that sounds like it would make sense.

Excellent, thanks Bladite and Flexxx! I think I've revamped my idea for my first custom. I'll make a small fixed for my daughter. That way she has at least one knife dad made her and it'll be around the same age as her.

Murph, I got mine on the 'bay from a vendor in merry old England.
About the same price as CountyComm, but this guy offered both sizes.
Royal Air Mail shipping was reasonable and surprisingly fast.

is it just me or does turkey bacon suck? although it does add a distinct flavor to my breakfast specialty, eggs bene-clich

I've never had it. Seems somehow unholy to me.

trade showed me how the big folding cup fits perfectly into the 4" bottle holder, and I incorporated one into my murse set-up.

I gots me one of those....I love the wood they made it out of, not sure what it is. Do all 4 serial numbers match? heres mine pictured with my savage .06. I think i might just go out for deer with the mosin, gotta see if i can sight it in though. so far its just been a fun gun. At night the muzzle flash looks like a flame thrower

Turkey bacon has all of the smoky-taste. but lacks the texture, and most importantly; the all-important pork fat that can make even a fast-food burger palatable :) Therefore it is inferior.

Side note: cleared a tiny little bit of brush yesterday with my new Tramontina machete. Did good, but honestly, my BK-5 is almost as good (just a little short) might work this up into a full-fledged head to head if I get the time and inclination. Or at least some repeatable criteria to judge this mismatch by ;)
 
Yeah that dark colored wood on yours is beautiful.

Yes, all the numbers match on that one, its a 43 Tula. I have not shot it yet, its in great shape. I do plan to shoot it eventually though.

I have an M44 that I have had for a few years that I love to shoot. I got it for $30 because it has a sticky bolt and the butt plate # is mismatched...its number is 0666. I have disassembled and cleaned the bolt and chucked a 20 gauge brass brush in a drill and cleaned out the chamber better so I am hoping for better results next time I can get it out.


I need to get a good pic of it, here is the only one I have.

turkey bacon does suck.
I'm not a huge bacon fan. If'n imma gonna eat me some bacon, it's gonna be th' real deal.
Preferably the all-natural slab-cut stuff with more meat than fat. THAT stuff is FINE.
