Throw an extra piece of that chert in there for me would ya trade. I can trade you some Oregon Pitchwood for it.

That's what is mostly around here as well. Most all my local arrowhead finds are chert.
 
Seems like you can get flint in Michigan, in and around the Flint area. Seems like somebody was saying that once.
 
we have lots of chert around here - makes decent sparks. (I'm on the east edge of the Flint Hills in Ks)
another thing that works REAL well is agate or jasper out of the riverbed.
if you just need a small piece, check in black powder supplies at cabela's/bass pro/gander/etc...
 
Got all the ingredients for a creepy movie today. Swamp....fog...coyotes howling... I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see zombies coming across the field....

If there is the threat of zombies i hope you have gotten Kay the supressed toy. By the way i got the grear bags they are great give me a call so we can talk about them .

got my spacesaver cup today made to fit around a nalgene

Cool! Somebody on here was looking for the standard sheath a little while back. I can't remember who. I realized I have an extra from my second LEBK10 that's needing a good home.

Haha. I do. But it just seems to work out that something I want goes up for sale when I got some new toy so its all about the trade offs. Problem is I'm no good at it and more often than not take a loss. Plus you can't beat that new knife/gear feeling when you check the mail and there's a new package.

And I know you will like it warrior. Its Kfu's first full convex edc. I was hoping and waiting and watching for a wide handled edc like yours until this beauty came up for sale. Plus I still have the bk10 sheath its just up for sale, small market for them so I may get to keep it. As long as I show the wife I tried :D
