this:
is bound to be my favorite toy ever... looks like the G3/HK91 and is in fact related to the PTR-91... it's the PTR-32.
difference? instead of 7.62x51, it's 7.62x39, which means vast $$$ saved in ammo, over the long haul.
standard capacity 30 rounders, finest bulgarian type. they get the job done.
i'm no sniper... but it's seemingly very accurate. something i can't say for most AK type rifles, generally.
particulars: block rest while standing, stock iron sights freshly sighted in, 40 dF, 30 rounds total onto that paper, 25 yds. the red dot is 1 inch, and the next circle is 2 inches.
i expect after some practice, it and i will do better. i might tweak the POI a tad to the left, but shooting at 50 yds will sort that out. then 109 yds (as my course is marked 100 METERS at that spot for some unknown reason); oh yeah, that top "hole" is from the staple ;} no big flyers. that ammo rocks (steel cased wolf surplus).
