Anyone know of a good thermos that is the size of a standard Nalgene? About 4" x 8"?
It's hot chocolate weather for the kids, and it's easier to just make up a batch before we leave the house.

I have the 24oz Stanley Food Jar (Thermos) and it's great. I've had it keep tea steaming hot for 8+ hours. Plus the cap doubles as a cup too. Not sure on the exact size but it fits in my Maxpedition 10X4 bottle holder. Little bit of a tight fit, but it does fit.

Man, that sounds just about perfect. Can you get me some dimensions on it when you have the time?
Is this the one with the big handle on the side? I was afraid the handle would make it too big.
I do intend for it to go in a 10x4 bottle holder.

A-fiskin' I a-went....

Sharper than ever. And that zts s30v is gonna hold it forever. I really wish I could have seen Mr. Fisk do his thing in person. I just hope I'm doing it right, I could be screwing it up all along.

Clich, I think you're doing a damn fine job with the Fisk method. The thing he did (and the critical part) was after he thinned the blade (by removing the grind shoulder to within a sixteenth of the edge) he "rocked" it a couple of passes on each side untill he got a tiny burr the full length of the blade. He had a maestro's touch doing that. That's the part that I watched closely every time he did it. He was totally in touch with what was happening and used a very light touch. Hope this makes sense, it's the best I can do to explain it. I think you're well on the way to mastering it however.

Found this 24 oz version at Small Fart.
CCMI, is this the one you have?

No, I've never seen that one before, but it looks pretty cool. Like a slim version or something.

This is the one I have:

You could take the handle off and that might work for you Biscuit. I think that's the one I saw.

Small Fart is supposed to have both of 'em. I'll make a trip tomorrow.

I wonder what they have over at Ass Ho Stop. We were there just the other night to see Santa.

Pass Bro? i was there today.
Red Stanley 1.4 L thermos would keep things warm, but would not fit in a 10x4 bottle bag.

WTF? This small aluminum pill fob cost me $4.99:

I have the same pill container for my ......for my pills also :D

Yeah, taking a pair of cutting pliers to the handle would help the fit in a 10x4.

I've also seen them at Hoe's home improvement store. I picked mine up at the local sports store in the camping aisle.

Guyon check out Klean Kanteen insulated, those SOB's work wonders.....20oz keeps my coffee hot for a damn long time and won't leak for nothing

always wanted a guyot bottle, but if figured guyon bought them all.

Lost my RMDx. Stupid auction ended at midnight and I wake up at 445 for work. Couldn't stay up and I lost it. Grumpy today.
