The next item on my radar......Love the guard and profile of it. Old school bowie look but new school engineering.

I dont know jack about any of the kin line really. Whats the basic 4? I also love the profile on the ash-1 but no way am i ever gonna drop 4 bills on a blade, ive come to terms with it not ever happening. That and the fletcher BAMF id love but way to expensive. Even the RMDx is over my budget but im pulling strings. The only kin knives ive owned was the swamp rat M6 and the scrapyard 511. I got a yard guard coming monday from a trade but that will need to be sold to fund the RMDx purchase. I dont dig the handles on the sykcos, but i loved the m6 so im thinking ill like the rmdx

I want something longer. even the regular rmd is shorter than id like. I want a 6 inch blade including choil.

If I were truly evil, I would say something along the lines of "you mean like an ESEE6?"
but since I'm not truly evil, I will only say - "would you like to borrow my ESEE6 and see what you think of it?"
:D
Of course, the Beckerhead answer is "what's wrong with the BK10 or BK12?"

the RMD is pretty nice, though. I'm just not a fan of the double guard on the LE.

HAHA. Thats why i like it. I dig that double guard. Reminds me on its big busse brother the team gemini. Thats another that id like, 8 inches or pure awesomeness. But again too much $. No beckers with that double guard or id be puttin together $235 for one of those and i never like the profile of the esee 6. Love the 5 and junglas but the 6 looks silly to me

you might talk to KFU or JK -- both have reasonable rates and delivery times in January.
John (JK) will work with you from your drawing if you have something specific in mind that he doesn't normally do.

I'm not a fan of the guard myself, but love that design, simple yet so sophisticated.. almost timeless.......

are those buffalo horn scales I see?? very nice man...

bought 3 of these. yep, $1/ea. Try buying merely 3 LR44 batteries for that price.
I got 'em as batteries for my long defunct laser pointer, but liked the lighty things enough to stash one in my hunting pack (who are we kidding, the deer are safe from me) and one in the truck. The laser pointer is back in action, but obviously more are needed for the batteries.

Only Respirene-C model I kept was the SR Battle Rat. I'm a micarta junky.

If you're like me, trucks are cool. (then again, most things with engines and wheels and stuff are cool: cars, bikes, boats, 4 wheelers, snowmobiles .... etc.)

Anyway, this truck is around my area a lot trimming around elec. wires. Had to snap a couple pics. :D

Talk about a go anywhere, do anything 4 x 4 (LOL - yeah, I'm like a little kid)

Pretty wild. See it around a lot, it does work.

You START with a 7500 platform and beef it up from there !

That would be fun :D
