Well i missed my chance at a trophy today. I could see this suckers rack over the brush as it walked toward me for a 10 minutes and it looked like a moving tree. at least an 10 pointer with all of em tall and straight. The perfect buck. He stopped about 40 yards from me in between two trees. Last year i missed a doe in the same situation by blowing out the tree, so i decided to wait for him to get clear. Well this guy didnt get THAT BIG on public land by being dumb. He made me and took off into the brush. I didnt realize how big he was until he leaped in the air. he was MASSIVE. I tracked him for a little while then the trail went cold. Its hard with an invasive sticker bush thats 5 feet high on its own and 12 ft when it grows up a tree. Nasty shite. Any ways my legs are all cut up and i was tired and frustrated that i didnt shoot when i could have so i packed it in early. Then to add to my awesome day, i got home and unpacked and my mag for my 06 was missing. It mustve fallen out of my pocket when i unloaded to walk back to my truck. a replacement is $50. FML.

That's some real tough luck there Clich, but not as bad as this guy. I found him eaten up by the Coyotes.

Dude!! I think you're gonna love the 7!!! It's one of my top choices to carry.

Just wanted to thank 1066vik for doing such a damn fine job on this holster. It's hard to find a good holster for a Single-Six 4 1/2 inch. Really nice custom job, perfect fit and finish Eric. :thumbup:

Oh yeah, he does great work. Hey man, I love those Model 19s. I've got one made in the '70s that looks new. Not a lot of us wheelgun fans around these days.
 
TW, I like to look around for older wheel guns. Mine is a cherry nickel 19 with walnut grips. I don't shoot it that much but it will keep up with any other gun I have accuracy wise.
 
Trade, a Single action revolver is one of the toughest guns on the planet, so they make a great woods gun.
I loves me some wheel guns, My dad had a toy revolver when I was a kid, from when he was a kid that looked and acted like a real gun, with bullets that you loaded caps into.
I fell in love with that cap gun and have been a revolver fan ever since. I do love ALOT of guns though..lol


P.S. most young guys seem to like the whole Glock thing.
I much Prefer a revolver or a 1911, but I am just shy of 40.

I need to get me a hand gun someday :(

Sure knives are great and all, but a good hand gun just seems like it's something I should have also :)

Maybe a .22WMA revolver?
