Two C-clamps?! We are not a multimillion dollar operation! 1 is all we could afford right now.

They're easier to move around the shop than the one T-clamp you've been using.
Oh and hey, that use of scrap aluminum plate is patented, so don't get any ideas.

wait, isn't that a federal crime? as well as grand theft, and a host of other issues?

perhaps a note to Homeland?

also: time to buy a safe, install an alarm, and a few other things...
the ATF got involved but he pled insanity or something stupid like that. He's just a moron and a juggalo.

Ethan's giant skillet was steel, not cast iron. Not sure what kind or where he got it, but TwinStick posted up a thread recently that has one that is mighty similar called the "Lumberjack" skillet. On your way now.

I've got the 16" Lumberjack and love it. They are about 35 bucks. I think Ethan's is a 20". Very similar if not identical to the Lumberjack.

Snakes on a plane. My eyes are crossed from working at the computer all day. I feel like the McClintock brother on the right.

I thought that might be it. I saw it earlier, that for confirming. :)

Grew up around South Bend. Used to go camping up there as a kid, so I haven't been recently, but I remember it being fun!

Don't forget large pieces of cardboard for "sledding" on the dunes!

We usually preferred the Warren Dunes State Park just up I-94 a short distance in MI. Much bigger sand hills, as I recall.

added: I fired off an email to an old HS buddy of mine living in LaPorte to see if he has more recent advice.

I don't know if it was a state park but I've been to this place a few times that was full of sand dunes around Lake Mich. One dune in particular was called Tower Hill and it was huge. Either way it was good times. Last time I went was about 12 years ago or so.

Had a BK11 in my mailbox when I got home. My reason for buying it is because a customer wants a BK11 sheath on the face of the BK4 sheath I'm building for him. But damn, this BK11 is nice! I shoulda got one a long time ago. I really like it. And, it's the sharpest Becker I have ever had straight out of the box! This thing is sweet! Now, I have to make myself a sheath for it! If I ever get the time...................
Cheers

Probably Silver Lake Sand Dunes. That place is incredible, and when I finally get a Jeep I'm headed out there again.

Just west of my real home, back in Mountain Home, Idaho is Bruneau Dunes State Park. These are supposedly the largest sand dunes in North America. The largest one is 470 feet high. They are beautiful!! No motorized vehicles or horses allowed on the dunes, but you can walk them and climb to the top. It's a chore to get to the top because the footiing is pretty loose. But, it's a pretty cool view when you get there. There is also an observatory that's really cool. Google it. The pictures are beautiful.

woah.
I've been to White Sands National Monument, but these Bruneau Dunes sound ridiculous.

20" LumberJack Slillet. Around $50+ shipping. I highly recommend the lid as well. About $25+ shipping or around $100 total. With the lid you can do large amounts of home fries by putting some water in the bottom & using the steam to help them cook faster. Otherwise it takes forever. It also works perfect inside on my camper stove. You can use all 3 burners at onece.

CAMP CHEF is making them now. :D

Seriously, you should google them. The photography threads show the real beauty of the area. It's crazy because these dunes is just sitting there surrounded by the normal Idaho landscape. Like someone just dumped tons of sand all in one place. It's only about 15 miles from where my "real" home is.
