Trying to come up with a game plan for today because my original plans were shot down. I want to plan to do nothing and just relax but that never happens. I wonder If I can convince the wife to let me go out shopping for her brothers birthday present.....

That isn't too bad of an idea. That gets you out of the house and you can get him something good, like something from the shooting range... :D

Had some beers couple nights back, and I have come to the conclusion that IPA's are not for me. Can't stand the taste of a single one I have had.

What IPAs did you have D? I think many of the currently "popular" IPAs are over-hopped and almost undrinkable.

yep.
I like several in the Pale Ale category, but once they reach IPA status i'll take a seltzer, please.

Uhh....head hurts. Much beer last night.
um....lightweight
I'm feeling the same...sipping coffee and avoiding sunlight. All that beer seemed like a good idea last night.
You should be ashamed...and you call yourself Canadian. Tsk. Beer drinking is your national pastime!
Hop it up for me, hopalong.
Complete agreement. Sierra Nevada Torpedo, please. Also, hella del on the SNBC IPA mix 12-pack at the local beverage outlet: $11.99 for Torpedo, Nooner, Snow Wit (white IPA) and Blindfold (black IPA). Yeah, I had a few last night. Plus a local Smuttynose Noonan's Black IPA. All delicious.

I've been called a lot of things in my day, but never a lightweight. :D IPA are my least favorite beer's as well. They are Murphys favorite and he brings a lot of them over thinking I won't drink them. Lol, but I do just to spite him.

I wanted to do some hiking today, but for once, the weatherman was right. Rain, and lots of it.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Just got back, had an amazing time. Will be uploading pictures and a couple videos later.
It was just you and your wife out there right? You might want to think twice about uploading those pics and vids... Not saying you shouldn't! Just somethings are better left offline.

My sister wants to go out to Chesterfield to the new outlet malls... I'm thinking that is the closest I'm going to get to hiking today... Being her pack mule. However she promised me lunch and it's been a long while since we got to spend any quality time together so I'm going to jump at the chance.

IPAs aren't quite my favorite, just different beers on different days really. The only ones I don't care for are Pilsners.

Loving the Garmin Forerunner 220. I spent my REI dividend wisely, I think.
Just found out about the third-party sites that will sync Garmin Connect with other training sites (like Runkeeper).
Going to have to shift runs to early a.m. though. It's already friggin' hot out there.

Heard an interesting NPR piece about "digital inheritance."
Spun the other way, it's what your kids will inherit as far as your digital files--Google, email, etc.
Made me think about the legacy of drivel I've left here on BFC.
I may have to go back through 40K+ posts and delete them all. :p

41,xxx not 40 :p

I figure I will just nuke my hard drive and all passwords with it when I die, that way no one will REALLY know what all I was into.

Well crap. Looks like the regulator for the back window of the little lady's car gave up the ghost..... just as it is about to rain for the next few days.

I'm pretty sure those @&$%#£+\ car manufacturers make the regulators out of plastic so that they are guaranteed to break.
