Like the tiny little clips that the tailgate and door latches on my truck use that break all the time.
 
Sucks you got the flu kid. Better to get it out of the way now instead of having it during the gathering.

In other news. I've been working on my brass back all day today. Haven't managed to screw it up yet. Don't want to jinx it, but this might be my finest work to date.
 
Todd, I'm really looking forward to seeing it and Murph's M18, among three other sharp items you may have there for me. :D

This is something I am pretty excited to see the finished product. It just screams awesome....
 
Yard raked, leaves and garbage collected, yard fertilized, hedges trimmed back a bit, and dead plants removed. A few more weeks of weather like this and me might be mowing! Few things accomplished today.

Well i couldnt find a place that made sense to post these pictures... so naturally i just came back to the snark. I reduced it down to 4 pictures though.

10 natural chops each. A miss still counted. I wanted to see in which order they worked for me. This doesnt mean one is better than the other, simply which IM better with. For instance im not very good chopping with the hawk, i missed a couple times with it completely which almost put it in last place.

Giedymin was deepest, but by less than half an inch, then the Keffeler, then the Crimson, Chopweiler, RTAK2, Kill Devil Hawk, Condor golok.







 
10 minutes ago it was 80 degrees and sunny as can be and now we are having a huge hail storm, this darn oklahoma weather

Yard work = having a yard. I cant wait to have yard work to do LOL.

Thanks man, the weather was excellent. We expected rain Friday evening but it ended up only sprinkling a little for ten minutes or so. Not even enough to go inside. I didnt want to leave. EVER. Its a great area. Peaceful and quiet. You can see the lake from the porch and there is trails all around it. Me and the pup took a bunch of runs down by the lake. The silly dog wouldnt step in the lake, even though i did trying to lure him out there LMAO, but he would jump right in the little streams around it. They were only about a foot deep at most but he would go right in and play in the water. There was also a nice opening a hundred yards or so from the cabin where we played softball and Frisbee... Me the wife and kids, not the pup LOL, cant let him off the leash yet. Tried... ended up chasing him for a good 10-15 minutes thru the woods to catch him. The "Shiba Inu" is sometimes translated as "Little Brushwood Dog"... Now i know why LMAO

Checked out the BK4, looks excellent bud, you hit the ground running with these mods!!

Is it the thicker one or not? Personally I'd rather get the Ka-Bar version for the simple fact that Ka-bar will honor their warranty but no one will honor the Camillus one.
