Would love to see a wine how to thread

There is the proper way to do it which creates a much better tastier more consistent product.... OR you can do the down and dirty super cheap way. I like the super cheap down and dirty way because it costs almost nothing and quickly yields a product that wont taste too bad, but still does its job. Plus it makes proper wine makers cringe... lol :p

Here is a pic in the daylight. This was a fun project and I am gonna do more wood scales for sure.

Looks good from here! Of course I can't be 100% sure without it in hand....
Thanks man!

Daauu-mm Dex, that looks like a $400 Gamestalker you've got there :)
Haha, At least $200 for sure!!

Great improvement Dex, I didnt like the orange!!!
Yea, I didn't like the orange either. Ka-Bar should do a micarta option and an extra black set with the orange.

Nice job! totally transforms that knife..
Thanks. It feel awesome in the hand now.

My process is somewhere between prison hootch and proper wine. :D I don't want to have to gag it down; drinking is supposed to be enjoyable. Keeping costs under control is important though, because unless you just have time and money to burn on making it a hobby, let's be honest... you can get pretty decent table or dessert wine at any grocery store for $5-10 a bottle. I see folks dropping $150 on a kit and waiting months to make a few gallons of merlot and just shake my head.

That looks great Dex! Been eyeing one of those Gamestalkers but I haven't convinced myself...yet

Thanks! You should get one. Its a great blade shape. Very similar to my Buck 103 except the handle curves downward and I think is gonna be the best skinning knife I have.

That PIF thread is going strong!!!

And chat isnt working for me now... Maybe Derek banned me after i commented on his tickler LMAO

I figured as much, only bad thing is now ill never figure out what this rash is that he gave me

well, at long last, i got me a Becker Field Bag.

came chock full of goodies. some of which i left behind in TN due to TSA regs. reunited at last :)

and a couple random goodies, as Ethan is wont to do :> thanks Ethan...

not sure what I'm going to do with a Saber Ground BK16 though. Much prefer the full-height grind.

maybe a contest! maybe a trade! lol.

yay, bag. damn, these "production" ones are AMAZING. dudes. you have no idea. WONDROUS.

Congrats. They look nice indeed, but in all honesty, I don't know what I would do with one.

Two Becker patrol packs on the bay right now.

Hope this isn't deal spotting. if it is let me know and I will edit this post.

Jeremy

only if it prevents me from getting a black or coyote in small size for under a hundred clams :>

so, stop it. y'all just stop going there for a couple months :D

Cut my knuckle open and bent two wrenches trying to get a pedal off my bike. I might just go to a bike shop and have them mess with it.

I have done something similar recently DJ... I split my shin open when the wrench slipped off the bolt while working on the car... It wasn't really bad. Bled for maybe 30 seconds or so.
