Fair enough. We had a few in there for a bit. Seems like everytime I do manage to get a decent crowd going something here at work has to go sideways. I blame Murphy. Either one will do.

I'll shoulder that cross, y'all were living it up till I showed up. I couldn't hang with all the talk of girly vodka.

Damn:

I swear, the shit we do for entertainment around here. :D

It looks like your tonsils are enlarged.

No way in heck am I posting a pic of my bench, it's a disaster area. :o

Did you see the pics of my disaster area(s)? I'm not proud. Point being, I am always happy when I'm working on a project, so in a sense, I am happy in those spaces. Taking pictures of my benches helped me to see them as art spaces, with the mess as a kind of a part of the process of creating stuff.....metaphysically speaking.

DO IT! Peer Pressure! COME ON!

No! There's not much to see anyway; just a couple half-finished knives, a handful of blanks and about a million tools scattered around.

I've heard that a cluttered desk/bench is a sign of genius at work, and a clean desk/bench is a sign of a diseased, twisted mind... so I must be one heckuva genius :p

Ordered a stainless steel Emberlit stove, for $37.99 shipped. Nearly half as much in cost compared to the titanium model, plus the extra weight was only 5-6 ounces. Much to my surprise, they sent me a titanium one.

Wally bag tradewater told me about. Fits great, and was only a few bucks. The bag is folded under, in half:

Is the emberlit better than the vargo?

I see you sold your vargo, which i would have bought had you not wanted paypal only, but now you got the emberlit, so i can assume this one is better?

Or why the change? Just curious i want a wood stove but want to get the one thats better of course.

I believe it's sturdier. The main reason I wanted this one, is the way you're able to feed it easier. The Vargo is definitely easier to assemble.

Thanks man, would you mind PM/ing me the place that sent the titanium one for the SS price? I know its no guarantee ill get it too, but Id take that chance HAHA

Chatroom you louts!

(If you are so inclined that is.)

Haha, my brother was telling me the same thing last night. We sat around a fire for about 4 hours, and I left my boot off. I tend not to cut them too often, as I'm notorious for cutting them too short, and getting ingrown toenails.

On a side note, where the hell ya been Todd?

Besides for my disgusting foot, has anyone ever seen anything like this? I'm thinking perhaps a spider bite. The night of the bike ride I posted, when removing my boot and sock, my foot itched. Scratched it, no biggie. A few days later it looks like this. Now, my boot has irritated the shit out of it today from walking, but it looks to be getting worse. I soaked it for an hour and a half in Epsom salts last night, and put an antibiotic cream on it. If it looks worse tomorrow, I guess I'll go see a doctor. Been trying to avoid it, as we don't have insurance at the moment:

probably should have spent $40 on a pedicure :D

i'd probably put some salve on that

almost looks like:

o a pressure hematoma?

o insect bite gone bad

o lyme "ring"?

o general contact dermatistis

get that shit fixed soon

Not bitchin though, I'm gonna have some more time off work coming up, sure am glad to have work.

I got a lot more stuff for my sub forum too. Just havnt had the time to fool with it.

I figured you've been busy making knives.

Dex, I have the small Copperlock. The larger one is larger. :p Seriously, it's a pocketful. Ka-Bar brought two to Blade. I got the small one, and Steve Johnson got the big one. He was trying to figure out how to attach a pocket clip if that tells you anything.
