Yea I have a couple clasp from bracelets but they are wide, I like the barrel because it would be small for 1 strand of paracord.

Im having one of these made with the streamlight nano...I have a few days anyway, Ill probably just order the barrels, there really cheap, I just wouldnt need so many so I figured if anyone else ordered them they are bound to have left-overs unless they made 30 -100 necklaces lol, so i figured Id check before I got so many... but if i get them Ill have some when others need a few... And i guess i can put one on my BK14 paracord necklace, and my fenix e11 kydex neck sheath paracord as well so they would all be done.

Here is the fenix e11 sheath, i love this thing, i love this light and the sheath makes it easier to carry and use while out in the woods at night. I hate having too much stuff in my pockets.

I will be doing a flash Beckerhead GAW in the very close future in honor of my 1 year anniversary on September 30th. This is just a heads up to all my snarkers! The first person to post the answer to a question will win a small care package from me including an esee arrowhead, paracord skull lanyard and a great book on shelter making.

A thread will be posted... sometime soon :D

Got this finished up for my dad I think he has an axe problem now. He has been hanging out over in that forum way too much lol.

that subforum is dangerous. I must have 10 axes now. Had to go cold turkey.

Yeah I have stayed away from it but I still have gotten a Kelly double bit and a Collins 3.5 lb just from him scrounging the local sales.

I don't know what it is about axes and hatchets but I can't pass one up either at a junk shop or yard sale.

Hey Worldwood, what I did for my 11 was gutted the paracord and ran beaded chain through the gutted it. That way it will break away if needed, it's quiet, and it just works.

I really think that's the best approach. The only downside to it is that paracord retains water for a while, so if you take a dip (planned or not) the beaded chain may rust out. But 550 cord and bead chain are both cheap, so ...

Quite a few of us jumped on that DPX deal they have been having lately. I didn't care for the sheath though, so I had to make myself something more suitable to my tastes.

Yeah, I saw pics of your setup CB and did the same thing with my 11. I like it.

I'll admit the mall ninja runs strong in me, but at the price they were letting them go for it was a heck of a chance to check out a steel I had never seen at a hardness (61 allegedly) that I had never messed with. I had been eyeballing this one since it was announced, and price was the main deterrent, but that deal was too good to pass up. Not a bad knife. Certainly not a "bushcraft" knife but definitely not a bad knife. Fit and finish is insane though.

Broke down and bought GTA V!! My wife waited for me in the car as I walked into game stop.... I run out with a cheesy smile and say GTA mother forker!!! She shakes her head and asked how much was that? Now go buy some groceries...
