That seems like it would be rather painful TW... You might want to try avoiding that in the future.
Just messing around today...but this might be something I pursue.
The factory handle geometry just doesn't do it for me.
I wonder if anyone has ever done this to an Rtak ll or a Junglas.

I never realized how tall the Jungles handle is.
Looking forward to hiking in a few days.
We won't be doing much, as my mom will be with us. Should still be fun though.Same here bro. 12.5 miles scheduled for Saturday.
Honestly, some of my most memorable treks have been short evening hikes, or Sunday afternoon strolls with the kids.We won't be doing much, as my mom will be with us. Should still be fun though.
Hey when are you getting to the gathering?
Two words of advice: Work. Sharp.
I've had to teach myself how to sharpen knives and tools, growing up I don't think anyone in my family sharpened anything. My dad had a hand plane that had the factory edge until I tuned and sharpened it a decade ago. It came room the factory in the 1950's.
I'm not saying give up on learning to hand sharpen; I think water stones are easy to use and very forgiving. But jigs and machines have their place, and if you just want your knife to be sharp, that WorkSharp is the bomb.
