LMAO, yea im trying... it gets boring talking to myself after a while though... but i do have quite a bit of practice with it, so i can hold a convo for a while all by lonesome

You got the crash rat?? Nice score man!! Some nice SR77!! I had one but traded it out for my chopweiler. Its quite a bit thicker than the KDSH, i prefer the size of the KDSH though, for throwing anyway.. and thats all i use a hawk for really... still the CR is great hawk!

But this is just the best knife I ever had, so im glad i traded the CR out.

Oh and Ray.. I might end up with that satin & jungle storm AD from Trevor!! :D

I think im maxing out my busse quota for the day in the snark thread.... time for some vitriol!!! :D

Thinking of throwing a ton of stuff up in the gadgets and gear exchange.

Autographs and Music equipment mostly, don't know how big the audience is foe that around here though?

Its worth a shot, I just realized I had all this stuff worth money lol. Full keyboard set just lies in the closet.

I'd be looking simple campkng gear mostly , like gloves, and even though I don't play games much , consoles beckon me for some reason.

Just saying, since exchange was mentioned. This is something I've been thinking over.

So, I've been busy today hence the lack of snark on my part.

So I started with breakfast:

Then moved onto supper. Currently on the stove is the Rockcastle Chili... Not exactly sure it will be the SAME as boss' but it will be damn good despite that!

With the chili it started with bacon, and steak:

Then remove the meat and put in the onions and garlic, deglaze the pan with some dark beer. I don't have Yuengling around here so I used Smithwycks. It's dark!

Add in the spices and let it cook!

Ah man i thought i was going to be the one to win nothing for my posts....

Such a disappointment :D

Well, Daizee has the pirate look going for him. However WW has the throwing hawks. But Daizee has the forge and knife making skills...

In this fight, I am going to put my money on BCK.

No knives....fists, bricks, and beer bottles only.

....... My money's on Tradewater lurking in the shadows.

Well i have never used a brick before so this will be a new one for me... the others... yea i have used those LMAO

You win... my nostrils are important to me LMAO

YES!!! I win NOTHING!! :)
which is good, 'cause I got enough somethings.

I've not generally been a huge fan of fighting-style knives as I've never had a use - this recently concluded contest notwithstanding.
However it looks like I have occasion to make one or two pieces which may ultimately be display knives, and the bowie bug may be biting. The BK7 does a credible job of being both bushcrafter and fighter, but... geez. I think this is a tricky line to walk. I can't legally carry a large bushcrafter anyway, and naturally I'd want one for my own use. And what about stick-tang blades? not sure I'd want someone to beat on one of those. Whaddayousguys think?

A competing idea would be a stick-tang aggressively styled mid-size chef's knife. Maybe that's a lousy mix. any examples? The fighter-appropriate handle would interfere with board-cutting geometry, so that's out. Hm.

Had a pretty good find at the local flea market today. This is after the clean up, sharpening, and handle shaping. Fun quick little project. The thing is a laser beam.
