I'll be honest I wasn't too much of a fan of the Res-C handle.
Julio, love the jolly roger! I've thought about etching it into the rear of one of my EDC blades, not too sure how it would turn out though since I kind of suck with actual hands on work LOL!
It's becoming very popular to teach little kids sign language. It's actually a good way to communicate with kids before they can speak. It uses a different skill set and different side of the brain.Sign language is amazing. We taught my daughter some when she was younger and it definitely helped out a lot with us communicating when she was first learning to speak. Now she speaks very well and knows quite a few base signs. I have to say knowing some basic communication signs have really helped me in interacting with the public. Very cool.
I've got a scrapmax with Res-C handle. Partly because of the lack of sheath, and partly because of the handle it hasn't made it into my regular rotation of knives. Of course that rotation is kind of overrun with Beckers, Esees, Daizee blades, and TMHunts.Yah, I was not sure about it either at first but I have to say after some use and handling I really dig it. It is definitely different and is probably not for everyone. Been doing a lot of whittling with it and comparing to the bk14 and mora mg clipper and its been really comfortable without any hotspots so far. I also like the "warm/soft" feeling it gives. Only time is going to tell with me how it all works out and holds up.
I ended up getting a sykco 311. I really wanted my first bussekin to be fairly inexpensive and be an EDC so that I could really look into how their steel performs for myself. I also wanted to try out the ResC handles. So far I absolutely love everything about it. Made a heavily waxed leather slip sheath for it. Really like it.

Nice deal!
Very nice!! I also didnt care for the res-c.. I tried a lot to love it, but i just didnt care much for... i tend to get blisters easier with rubbery handles. But the mudder handles are a different story, like on the 411. I have an 1111 and scrapper 5 here... neither are mine LMAO but the Infi scrapper 5's handle is much better than the 1111s, but i had the 1311 for a while and prefer the 1111 to the 1311 due to thickness and weight.
I get knives for people in Australia when the sellers wont ship over there and I proxy them to australia... Talk about a sweet gig LMAO, I get to see and hold knives id never get to see LMAO, i dont charge them any extra fees, they pay the exact shipping cost... but there is a clause in the agreement that i get to hold and admire every knife that comes thru me.... Sweet deal, i can figure out which knives i prefer before I buy them![]()
Thanks bro, It is a pretty sweet setup. I have got to check out Busse and Kins, fiddleback forges, Tom kreins, GECs, and such. I mean I dont actually cut anything with them, their not mine lol, but checking them out and seeing how the handle, weight, ect.. is makes it worth it!

Exactly. It is difficult to tell what the balance and feel would be by looking at a picture.
So tonight I made fajitas, without the tortillas since he is not eating gluten and it makes it really hard to find tortillas.
