yeah rotten has some horrible images on that site...

Faces crushed, arms in meat grinders, people hit by trains, and worse.

My only folder is a cryo... cheap, but i actually like it quite a bit, its just a little too small, and the steel is not great but works fine for the little task the small knife actually gets, which is mostly opening the boxes to my fixed blades LMAO....

But theres a thread on best folder for under 30, and i seen this ontario and it looks pretty cool for the price!! I hear nothing but good about the rat-1's maybe this has the same positive qualities!

Any of you guys have, or have had, or have used, or have held one of these? LMAO

I really dont care for the looks of the cheap esee folder. thought about the cryo 2... but maybe a different design might be nice..... I actually have no intentions of getting this ontario anytime soon.. or any another folder for that matter..... im just typing to type LMAO

That folder really doesn't do anything for me. The scales look cheap and the grinds look awkward. For me the only folder that really gets any carry time is a ZT0350 blem that I picked up for cheap. I have a Kershaw JYDII that I was given. It's actually really nice. Those are both about the size (it seems) as the picture you posted.

Let me know if you want to try the JYD, I can send it to ya for a trial run.

The handle looks great on the JYD!! And i appreciate the offer but I just cant bring myself to use other peoples knives... I have had crazy things happen with my own blades LMAO I dont like to take a chance with someone elses property.

I swapped my swamp rat hawk for a TGLB, as a temporary swap to test it out... I tried it out just cutting a small piece of wood and I literally felt bad because i seen a couple scuffs... and I put it away and didnt use it again.. The owner had no problem with it, we had swapped with the intention of both parties using the knife/hawk... But it wasnt mine so I felt like a jack ass anyway. Since then I just figured its better not to use anothers knife LMAO

But thank you for the gracious offer!!

The full-size JYD is an excellent knife. I've got both sizes, but it doesn't scale down very well. I'd carry it all the time if the blade weren't over my local 3" limit.

I don't know about different sizes. I know it's a great knife. It might need a bit of a sharpening, I haven't used it in close to 3 years.

There's a small and a large version. I ferget which is the 1 and which is the 2. The 'big' one is ~3-5/8" blade.

My wife picked spiced rum last night... im not a fan of spiced rum, Im drinking some now... not great....She likes it, must be in her blood LMAO... the bottle is pretty cool however...
