My favorite looking folders are the Striders, man those look so damn cool to me... but im worried about that whole price to value thing... like you are saying Cbear!!

I can understand high prices on some folders though.. all the moving parts and such. The only half decent folder I have ever owned was a 1st gen ZT 0550.. I think it was a 0550, I bought it from someone here in the snark thread, I think maybe Mrn8, my memory aint all that great LMAO anyway I only owned it a week or so, then traded it... I loved the knife really, the blade and everything was great.. i just couldnt open it easy with one hand, it was like the pressure my finger used made it closed tighter lmao.. i could easily open it with 1 finger... just not one handed with my thumb... something about the design.... I tried a friends ZT0551 and it was perfect... Later i got to hold a 2nd gen 0550 and it was fine... If i could of opened the one i got with my thumb one handed id never have traded that knife out, i really liked the design.

But I love the look of Striders! but ill have to hold one first, Im not taking a chance with hundreds LMAO

I handled one at GP a while back. It was.... underwhelming. Perhaps if I had a chance to look at it closely I would appreciate it more.
Perhaps if I was an artisian like BCK is, I would have appreciated it more. But for the price they were asking for it and the size and everything, I couldn't justify it. That was me though.

Yall going to get BCK all depressed about his latest acquisition LMAO
Nah, he knows knives are subjective and that you can't judge what you will like by someone else. Knives are like wives, just because you love your wife doesn't mean I will.

LMAO.... With all that cooking you do, she wouldnt even be violent with you!! Of course you'd love her... She can cook like nobodies business, she is fluent in sign language, puerto rican, and has a perfect round nice... nevermind, she is mine.

This is a thick monster... somehow I traded into it.... Its made of S7... That intrigued me.... . But .375" thick is crazy for such a short knife... More of a prybar.... only 126 made... Maybe Justin Gingrich would polish it up and remove that orange g10.. then it would go nice in my collection. I dont care for orange. And being a "collector limited edition knife" I dont want to just swap the scales myself... Just wouldnt be the same LMAO

Pepsi, pepsi is the word you were going for!

Post up another picture of it? I want to see the rest of the knife. Although yes, that is a thick bastardo!

Well i didnt take these pictures.... I still have to wait for the mailman to bring it to me LMAO but here are the pictures the guy i traded with sent me...

I probably still have my Intellivision if I looked for it.

My brother used to have a Genesis, he even bought a dreamcast when they came out. Hadn't even heard of the 32x though. Had to look it up.

 I've got an older one of my dad's around somewhere, fortunately I'm not that old. Growing up my consoles were post Nintendo.

32x is really good. It gets a lot of flack because it was poorly planned and was the 1st stone thrown that killed Sega as a console manufacturer altogether.

But basicaly its a really good extension console that enables 3D rendering of polygons gives your Genesis all the power of the now infamous Playstation that dominated the late 90s.

Compared to Sony PlayStation , the pack in game of the 32x, Star Wars Arcade, looks every bit as good or better than any game ever made for PSone.

Problem was , well there were a lot of problems all marketing and planning wise.

Between genesis and dream cast Sega released WAY to many consoles for keeping up with the Kardashians instead if sticking with one like the Super Nintendo did.

There was the Sega CD (claiming CDs were the way of the future), then back to cartridges with the 32x attachment being released in the US at the same time that an independent 32bit console was released in Japan , ask the while planning to release a standalone 32bit cartridge system nicknamed "Neptune"but that was scratched as we were given the 32bit CD Sega Saturn which was very difficult for developers to code games for until were finally given the Sega Dreamcast that was a really solid, very advanced system but sadly never saw the price drops of the PS2 and that was the coup de grace if Sega entirely.

As a final insult to the loyal consumer, they sold mascot Sonic the Hedgehog to Nintendo, yay..

If you guys are not hung over you didnt play hard enough :D

Rolled Edge brought IV kits. We all just hooked up to saline each morning. Instant hangover cure. Looked like an old-folks home around the campfire.

Some of us even added an olive (or two) to the IVs - recreating the previous evening's martini experience.

Some of us use to go down and get an IV for real when we were hung over.....

Ahh those were the days, the army was very accommodating with some stuff.
