I dont play the lotto, I figure I have almost as much chance winning by not playing as by playing, And this way is free.

I had a work buddy years ago hit $136 THOUSAND dollars on a slot machine right next to me just 3 pulls after I left the same machine... If I played the lotto, it would only help someone else win LMAO

I checked with Ethan. I still don't know anything about it. I'm trying to act like I do though.
 
I just hope Derek remembers to touch base with Gus about that thing they discussed. I'll check with Ethan about it and get back with you.
 
At the risk of running into the verboten political arena, found out today that the wife and I aren't getting paid any more, not being active duty.

You a civilian worker on a military base?
 
Wife is on military scholarship in medical school, on track to become a doctor for the USAF. She's not considered active duty, although she IS part of the military, and as such, her stipend is considered non-essential, and so she won't be getting paid during the shutdown. I work 3 part-time jobs, which won't be enough to support us during this (because her expenses from medical school are pricey), and as she's a medical student, she doesn't have time to go out and seek out a new job. I think it's reasonably safe on the political arena because there is plenty of blame to spread around on all sides. How many of the rest of you are affected? Sounds like vets are getting hosed also.
