Official 2012 Mini Knife KITH - closed!!

I should be done by tomorrow. It has been amazing working in miniature. It is much harder than I could have imagined. I have had to start over 4 times and I am almost out of ebony now trying to get it to work right. But this sure is fun.

Here's the pics of the mini cleaver.
It's 3 1/2" in total length. It is a based on a Briddell cleaver. The handles are Ebony. It is approximately a quarter scale.

I like it. A little big, but I still like it. Graham has his officially finished and boxed. I'll get pictures tomorrow at work, but it looks very nice.
 
Ok guys, the 2012 mini knife KITH is now closed! If a maker sneaks in by morning, I'll accept that as an entry. I think this year was a good improvement over last year! So polish, sharpen, and box up for shipment, I'll be getting shipping label emails out to everyone soon!

Sorry for not making it guys,i have had so much stuff in my personal life mess me up over the coarse of the last month. I am at this moment sitting about a month behind on orders, and just couldn't find the time to get it done, i apologize.
 
No harm no foul Mike, gotta watch out for number 1 you know! If you want at a later date to trade one, let me know, I like to make minis pretty often!

Hopefully I'll have the draw done tonight or tomorrow. Emails with shipping instructions will follow after that. I have given myself 10 days max to get this done, I do have a job and family to balance with any available moment I have.

I am also sorry for not making it... I've been working a lot and spending any of my free time tuning up my garage so that I can eventually make knives without a 1-2 hour setup/takedown each time.

Next year! There will be dedicated work space for me by the end of the summer, so I'm in for the next one!

in short, the story of my life over the past two months.. I really wanted to make this kith... I'm actually just healing and licking my wounds over the bumps in the road of life at the moment(very long story (s) ) and I'm hopeful to be checking in to harass you guys more often!!!

Even if you didn't finish a knife, you showed interest which helps build an event like this! The sharing of conversation, comments, tips and encouragement is what makes a get together like this so worth it for me. I hope to run another one next spring! Start practicing now!

Hopefully I can join in the big boy KITH this winter since I have a new job and steady income this year which helps devote time to the shop. I hope to see you guys in there this year!

I have set aside some time tonight to get they draw done and email out the shipping labels, so be on the lookout!

Ok everyone, name draw is done and shipping info has been sent! Please try to be expedient shipping your knife out, but if you have issues let me know and I can notify the recipient if you need me to. Please be sure to ship via reliable methods with delivery confirmation at the very least. I prefer to insure it as well.

Ok, sure enough they were just sitting in my out box! I realized I never updated my server settings after the hack attempt so my mobile device wasn't connecting. They are now sent and I confirmed on my primary device.
