Official 2012 Mini Knife KITH - closed!!

Very nice Stacy!

Update to my email issues, I had an attempted hack and my security settings blocked it and shut down my access from all other machines and devices except for my designated "home" machine, which is off site. EVERYONES CONTACT INFO IS SAFE AND WAS NOT ACCESSED DURING THIS HACK ATTEMPT! I know that you can't be too careful with your personal info and I am glad that my security settings worked. I even got the IP address of the hacker, they're in Brazil.

So, either email address is ok to use for contacting me.

Sadly, I don't think I will be able to get mine done. Combining a lack of time finishing school for the year and having trouble with my first hidden tang, I am just not going to get done. It has been fun, so far, though.

If things go well this weekend I am still in...! Work has proven to eat up a lot more time that I initially thought haha

I'm still on track to get a couple finished. I'm not sure Graham will get his done, though. He designed this magnificent dagger that I think is far more work than he thinks. Don't count him out yet, just be prepared for his to remain incomplete.

When should we expect to see the "I'm ready" thread materialize?

:o !!!Oh, sorry, I guess I let that one slip by!!! Last year I don't think it was ever used, and the kith being as small as it is, its easy enough for me to keep track in here, but for clarity I will get a thread going today sometime!

Well here it is, I will move pics from the KITH thread over to here only if explicitly stating that they are done.

Post your completed mini knife here with "it's done" and you will be added to the list of completed knives and name thrown in the hat.

I'm done.
I think we should just merge this thread with the sticky on the KITH. I will be glad to do that if you want.

Woohoo! Handle on my "Weird knife I saw on either NatGeo or an old Tarzan movie" glued finally! Now, if I can just grind/file off the copper without melting the handle. . . . .

Yes, I got them right before we left for the weekend. Thank you! I plan to use them in my other mini. This one uses copper from a 1981 penny. It's not quite done yet. I still have a little work to do on the handle including coloring. The damascus pattern came out nicely, I think.

PS: Graham is down to hand sanding on his mini Zangetsu, which is a katana from an anime called Bleach. Still not sure if he will get the dagger done. I know, no one here would call it a katana.

No, mine is not based off the Bear Grylls machete, but there are similarities:

Well, if anyone else has a finished mini to post here, please do so, or in the sticky. I think this should be merged with the sticky. Just not enough participants to have a seperate thread.
