Official Buck Picture Thread

I received this Buck 412 in 1983 when I graduated from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts. I used it hard for two years or so. I remember doing something stupid and my Dad took a few things away as punishment, and one of the things was this knife. What he didn't know was that I had already acquired a Buck 110 so I forgot about this knife. So did he. It sat in his drawer for 40 years. When I saw him yesterday, he handed me this knife and told me that I am now "ungrounded" and can have it back. :)Buck 412
Haha great story. And he remembered the event 40 yrs later and returns it, lol. Do you still have that 110? Needless to say we need to see that if you do... 😋

I don’t want to start another thread to ask so I will ask it here as some of you may have a pic…….did Buck ever make a Barlow type knife?

Edit:

I did find some info about 331 and 332, grandaddy Barlow and a smaller Barlow, both made for Buck by Camillus and then sold through SMKW.

Yes! Well, Camillus did on contract for Buck. They made a regular, and a Granddaddy, yellow and black sawcut delrin, and maybe some bone? Some, or maybe all, were Smoky Mountain Knife Works exclusives.

Both of these are made by Camillus. The black Camco was their budget line. It belonged to my grandfather and is unique because it’s thinner than any other Barlow I’ve seen. I’m sure others will be along with pictures of the other Buck Barlow configurations.

I think I learned from a previous thread that they only made the jigged bone handle for the grandaddy Barlow.

Buck 110 slim , love this one .
