Yah...last year it was the four (five, including Becker) of us. Still, great peeps. The fall Gatherings I bring my two gurlz, and trailbum's kids are there, and some others. We are a mellow bunch. But once you meet dresnor and trailbum and Becker and Copperhead and myself.....that's when internet acquaintance leads to actual friendship. My two kids have had a great time at the last two Gatherings, and last year at the Radeke was just.....perfect. It's a nice place, and trailbum cooks bacon like the pro that he is. It's not a long walk to the Swift River, and we have plenty of knives to play with. Plenty.

Sweet. I can't wait. I've met dresnor and copperhead briefly, they stopped by to pick up a bottle of mead I sent along a year or two ago when I couldn't make a gathering. Mellow fits my style perfectly. My daughter is 17 but I don't think she'll be interested. I love the pictures from past events....

I don't have a bunch of knives, but most of the ones I have are Beckers. I'll bring my 16 and my 4 for sure. Planning to pick up a couple more in the next few weeks, either a 5 or a backup 4 (that's my favorite), or the new RBK if it is out by then.

Bladite is a NH guy, no? Wonder if he'll show up.... I had some fun chats with him a while back. I also remember seeing "Uncle Weirdbeard" saying he hoped to make one of these at some point. Time will tell I suppose.

But hey, small is good too. In some ways I prefer smaller gatherings. Regardless I am greatly looking forward to it!

That's the weekend of a big annual camp-out I am always previously committed to. I will surely miss going to this and really wish I was going to be there. Next year, if it's not on Mother's Day weekend - I'm in!

Mrs. Bum, and the kids, alwaysoutdoors, and Brandon, will show up Saturday afternoon.
Small is fun, get time to really talk to people.

It looks like it will be a great time! I am having some health problems right now but if I can, I will drag my mangy, old carcass up there for a day. Probably Saturday. I would really like to meet all of you.

Augh... Another one I'll have to miss :( That's my son's birthday weekend, and I've been away so much for work this year (almost 20 out of the last 52 weeks) that there is no way I could be away for that. Definitely going to make the fall gathering this year (assuming it is still on).

We'll be seeing you in the fall, then. I don't think trailbum expected you to make the drive for this one, anyway. Happy birthday to your boy in advance. I'd like to see a little more of your leatherwork (if you've done any). Glad to see you poke your head in.

I have a few things planned I want to make, but I haven't had any free time to do anything in almost a year. The company I work for made a half billion dollar acquisition last April and as they had the *worst* IT infrastructure I have ever seen, I've had my hands full tearing it apart and building it new from scratch. I just got back from a week in St. Louis migrating their former HQ onto our new domain, so hopefully my travel schedule is going to chill out for a bit.

Anyway, hope you guys have fun, and looking forward to the Fall gathering!
