Hi Dan,

I would politely add my voice to this request. I know it's out of your hands at this point, but was wondering if you had any timeline available. As I mentioned to you in an email, come May I have a few very large lifestyle changes so was wondering if it would be delivered before May.

Hey WS, thank you for the link - I did see that link and checked out the pictures. Cool stuff, as always!

I was wondering if a guesstimate on a date was available - a few big moves coming up (three in less than 12 months!) and things are going to get hectic for me starting in a few weeks. The reason I ask for a guess on the time is so someone else can grab my spot and I can take care of the admin. details sooner rather than later.

Please know I mean no disrespect to Dan as a person or as a knifemaker - if I have to cancel this time around, I'll definitely pick another one up later!
 
I am expecting an update today/tomorrow regarding the BushMaster status (still out of my hands). I'm starting to get a little frustrated, though. My thread of patience is a mile-long....maybe that's a bad thing...but I think I've nearly run out of it. I want to get these done....now!

I'll update you guys as soon as I get new info.

And I'll post updates to this list this week - if you have PM'ed or sent an email, etc....I do have it, and will make the changes/updates asap.

:) Yep - I can hardly wait for mine. It's a good thing I have no time to get out in the woods right now or the wait would be even worse. SO...feel free to spend some extra time & TLC on mine. ;)
 
Dan I don't think that anybody is worried about that. I am sure that we all rather see you grind steel than spend your day posting :P
 
Got good news and bad news, guys...



First the good news....I now have a timeline for the BushMasters. :thumbup:


Now the bad news...they've been sitting in the *wrong* box for the last few weeks. I had called the heat-treat place...."no blades here"....I had called the CNC place...."no blades here"....I was starting to worry that maybe they were lost in transit !! :eek:

Turns out it was just a mixup....unfortunately, one that has cost me (and you!) some time. Grrrrr.....but, like I said...I have a very long fuse...(maybe too long)....and I really just want them done....done right, yes....but done.

So, at this point, I'm not complaining.

The timeline is looking good too. I think finished blades will start showing up here in 3 weeks.

These are going to be epic knives so I'm content to wait.

I'm busy with a 2 1/2 year old and work (not to mention yardwork, gardening, side business stuff...) so I just hope to have mine by summertime. Tromping through the local trails this summer with my Bushmaster on my side will be great fun.

1 x Elite @ $235,
postage to Australia $30 + $10 for 2 additional kjnives.
PayPal surcharge 2%
Total $617
Deposit paid 2 x $75 + $95 = $245, therefore....

Balance $372.

I have PayPal'd this to your A/C.
Hope my calculations are correct.

It was only a reminder because I have no way of knowing if you had a chance to read the PM and/or email I sent you back in March this year [2009] concerning this matter.

I just am trying to avoid any mistakes.... I hope you can appreciate that. :thumbup:

As I was looking at the order list I noticed that I was still marked as just having paid a deposit. I believe this is in error. My records show that I sent a check for $235 on 7/18/2008 and a check for $10 on 2/2/2009 (to cover s&h). If you need copies of the checks I'll scrounge through my statements and scan copies of the checks. Since this was never entered in the order tracker it is hard to track what you have. I believe I am #21 on the Elite list w/black liners (Jim K). Please tell me what you need. I would hate to cause undue delay.

I will be at the Blade Show next week; hope to see you there.

The bad economy has finally caught up with me. It pains me to cancel 3V-# 11,12,13 as I have really looked forward to getting them. Please refund my deposits at your earliest convenience. My apologies.
