I put in a call and sent an email to the CNC guys.

Not sure what else I can do short of driving out there and knocking on their doors...*shrug*

Believe me, guys....if there was anything I could do to make these go faster I would. But I know what it's like for somebody to be calling everyday insisting their stuff get done first....it usually ends up with mistakes...or less quality in the work.

So, for now....just wait until you hear from me, ok?

I'm not going to move any faster on these because I'm being needled on 'em.

They come in when they come in.

And when they do, I PROMISE you guys will hear all about it! :D

I want them done as bad as you do!

Thanks to those that are waiting patiently!

Dan

I'm willing to wait as long as it takes -- my reminders are just "squeeky wheel" notices to remember to (please) use BRASS pins for mine.

Finally got in touch with the CNC guys. They say they will be done next Wednesday.

So, if I don't update between now and then....that's the latest. :D

Feel free to post here after that, of course. :p

Dan

Just want to throw my name in here in case anyone wants out or you end up with extras! Thanks

I made 2 calls and sent 2 emails - neither returned. Will try again today.

*shrug*

Dan

Ok - here's the latest.

I called the CNC company to raise some holy cain....it's been WAAAAY too long!!!

They said they have been "down" for 2 weeks because of faulty controllers. The replacements should be here in 2 days and they will be putting the BushMaster on the TOP of the list to get done.

I reminded him of just how long we have been waiting on these....and to not forget that we would like them done well and not rushed.

So here's what I'm going to do.

I am going to call on Monday - if they have indeed started them, then great - they'll be done next week. If not, I am going to ask for the blades back and will send them to another guy who I trust to do a good job.

Everything is done except for the bevel grinding and he can do that part and has a pretty good turnaround time (2 weeks).

Sound fair to everybody?

Dan

Thanks for the update Dan :o

Can't wait to get this bad boy in my hands, it's gonna be worth the wait!

As long as they are done right, I'll wait. Somethings are better not rushed. Besides, I've got another knife around here somewhere.....
